In this week adventure Tam the Chef caught a very rare fish . Catching a Chub from Loch Lomond is like winning the lottery , a chance in a million .

Fantastic fishing Nico that chub came in through the River Endrick. Chub can be caught on lures too. Well done Nico!

yes Jacob they are in the Endrick , but rarely seen in the main loch . only had one .

If you stand on Balloch bridge in summer, you can sometimes see huge chub in the shallows just off the main current. I've never caught one, never even tried. It's good to know that they're catchable though.

Going to have us arrested :) Good Chub is a good fish to catch . In France I use to catch them with a live grasshopper
