I love how this came out for sure. I know you tend to not do the same suit when it comes to builds and such, but as this being one of your older builds from a few years back I'd love to see you do the ver ka and see what you would do differently. seeing how your skills have gotten better with each and every build esp. new techniques you may have picked up since this build.
i'm relatively new to Gunpla, but i was a big Gundam Wing fan as a kid. when I see these vids pop up on my recommended i get a bit of "hell yea!" feeling. then i watch them, and I'm like.... ugh i dont have the painting supplies to even come close to how good you fellas make your kits look.
Sweet! I actually got this kit to tide me over because I promised my brother I would hold off building the PG GP01/Fb I got until he could help. Besides, who doesn’t need the air brush practice?
Nice, Im trying to get each grade of the rx782 and I have the sdcs hg and mg all I need is the pg. And with zeta I have the mg 2.0 i going to get the double zeta ver ka and the mk2 in mg and hg.
>recommend the RG As someone who loves Zeta and has an RG in their backlog, I think you might wanna try that one out to see if that recommendation sticks lol
I built the rg and I loved it. It definitely is the best looking version of the Zeta because of all the extra panels and color seperation. I don't get all the hate it gets, but then again lots of people also think general stuff like panel lining and waterslides are hard
why would him buy the rg when him can afford better stuff and MAKE better stuff? sure is beautiful but have so much stability issues and is not fun to handle.
I don't know if I just missed it on your other videos, but I greatly appreciate you showing where you drilled to manage your cables. Excellent job as always!
Always have to pay my respects for any builder that paints AND is willing to transform their MS and back for display. Handling these things alot after painting let alone transforming them is stressful as hell
Another home run! And one of my favorite mobile suits too. (Though I'm more biased towards Amuro's White Unicorn ver.) Great painted build, my dude. Hope to see more from you.
Dude. U are doing ur job very wel. Been at home from march because of the lockdown here in holland. Been building gundam from feb. And ur vids really help. Keep up the good work.
Looks great! I like what you did. I actually have two Zetas. I have the 1.0 for waverider mode and the 2.0 for the regular mode. They look a bit different but it's a cheaper option than getting two 2.0's
I agree on your finals to get 2 version. 1. The Mobile Suit Mode and 2. The Mobile Armor Mode. Because its a real pain to transform them and joints will be stiff and will break too. That's why I got 2 versions for those transformable type...
Love the vids man, actually just got into airbrushing and learned a lot from watching yoru stuff. If I could make a request, could you maybe in future videos have some video/photos at the end with more neutral lighting? The dramatic lights look awesome especially with the LEDs but having some time to just check out the build and be able to see everything would be awesome too!
looks great! really killed it again. I heard the PG us kinda rickety when comes to the transformation. Keep up the great work. My son is really looking forward to the Optimus Prime build!
Definitely seems to be trend of when ever you make a build recently that the kit sells out quickly. Which is fantastic for Newtype. All of your builds have been fantastic and I hope to get an modeling paint sprayer eventually and practice with installing LEDs into models which i need my own soldering set only been using my college's for class projects and labs
When you get to the PG Zeta, just a fair warning: The joints in the legs and hips will get loose over time from the sheer amount of weight they're holding up. There are a fair few die-cast bits and lots of heavier bits hidden around it that make it a monster of the weight scale. But the upside is it at least has a flawless transformation and it's own lighted beam saber.
I've built the 2.0 myself, to replace the nightmare that was the 1.0. I'm also waiting for the Ver Ka that is coming out. I'm upset that it's coming out in April and not February like originally planned.
Nice job. I wouldn’t have wrapped the wires on the rear skirt like that. I would remove the excess wires. This made the rear skirt not close properly as it should.
When I see Zeta, I click. Nice build. Subbed. :D Did you know bandai actually had a 1/200 of this and was their first venture into incorporating pegs that fit in holes that they called "snap-Fit" technology?
Hey umm,i wanted to ask if i should watch out about anything when painting this kit,i want to do a simple grey like fighter jet paint scheme on this and not much else like you did(amazing build btw).
Perfect Grade Zeta is nice, but think you'll find it's rather dated, probably the 2.0 is more sophisticated! It's also a bit chunky, not sleek like newer versions. There are some great custom resin upgrade kits out there though, which might be worth considering.
Wow, I love your pre-shadowing technique! Do you have any tutorials on how best to pull that off, or any tips on which colours to shadow with for specific top-colours? I noticed you shadowed with brown beneath red, for example.
Quick question: do you build and paint in sections like you've edited the video? Is the torso fully built and painted before you move on to the limbs? Or do you separate the pieces by colour and paint all the blue pieces etc in batches?
great video as always, looks like im gonna have to get my gunpla fix from you cuz i can no longer afford it, idk how it is in other countries but in australia the stock for gunpla is running dry, HGs that were $40 are now going for over $100, most of the MGs that i want to get are over $200 now and the PG skygrasper kit that ive been after for a while straight up has run out
Wow i have this before but now i don't even know where it is, i'm tempted to buy a new one bc Zeta is my fav MS in the UC Timeline but Bandai still not giving Zeta the good kit it deserves, come on Bandai MG Zeta 3.0 or Ver. Ka
Im a big fan of your work but i have a request please , can you do a project with different color scheme than the original using the new Vallejo mecha color series , i would love that you use either build strike gundam or the strike freedom gundam , thanks
I dont get it why is he painting those edges black after that overlap with paint? Is he doing this to do penal lining instead of using panel lining marker? (p.s. I'm just a noob and never did gunpla painting before...)
You mean the black before painting right? It's an airbrush technique called pre-shading. It makes it look like there's shadows and more depth to the parts once you put the actual paint (like white) over it.
i think go for the one you like. But try avoiding de MG rx78 3.0 and perfect grades, you may have some problem with those if youre not familiar with the manuals.
go for the iron blooded orphan no grades, i started with those they look good and arent to dificult to build. or just start with high grades they go for cheap and makes good practice for some building experience. either way once you start building you never stop wanting to build more
The HG Revive RX-78-2 is always a good one to start with. Or if you don't want that, look for an HG of whatever your favorite mobile suit is. Chances are, it exists.
i like your videos, but are you ever gonna change the word "ASSEMBLE" to "ASSEMBLY"? am i missing something or is this just a typo that's ticking me off more than it should?
you pay for this one 80$ but i'm french and i want to have one too but not at this price!... on amazon i can have to near 56 euro in exchange to usd it's near 60 usd ... i'm feel bad for you for the price you have pay
Please do NOT get the RG Zeta! Trust me, I know from experience, it is wobbly and fragile as hell and never stays together if it's life depended on it. I was instantly disappointed and regretted choosing it as my first Zeta kit. And I've NEVER felt that way after building a gundam kit after I got the RG Zeta. The damn box intrigued me and I was too naive. If you want a good 1/144 Zeta that ACTUALLY holds together, do the right thing that I've should've done and get the HGUC Revive version instead. And if you want a good 1/100 Zeta, then get this 2.0. It's amazing as all 2.0's tend to be. That is all I have to say for the topic of the RG Zeta, and thanks for reading my little TED Talk about it lol.
I like this video but I have one disagreement. DO NOT BUY THE REAL GRADE. If you even *BREATHE* on the real grade, you will end up losing 9 or 13 pieces. .

watching your work evolve is part of the journey
I’ll tell you the interesting thing about that manual. It came on top of the runners!! 😮
Love the LEDs in the base, really makes the base pop
go ahead with the PG kit! i built the whole line including ie. HG, RG, MG and PG...they look awesome standing together like a happy family!
Just an FYI, this kit, if purchased in the US from either Newtype or USAGundamStore, cost right at $52-$53.
same on gundamplanet, i got mine in the mail on the 16th so about right
I wanna complete my xeta collection, how much is the mg Hyaku Shiki??
>recommend the RG
As someone who loves Zeta and has an RG in their backlog, I think you might wanna try that one out to see if that recommendation sticks lol
I think we need a 2.0 for the rg zeta.
@@yausingchan I agree!
I do NOT recommend the RG for this one. I built it. it's fragile as all hell.
I built the rg and I loved it. It definitely is the best looking version of the Zeta because of all the extra panels and color seperation.

You never cease to amaze me!!! You could take a piece of poo and turn it into an amazing work of art!
Another home run! And one of my favorite mobile suits too. (Though I'm more biased towards Amuro's White Unicorn ver.)
Great painted build, my dude. Hope to see more from you.
Love your videos! They help me push my builds to the next level. Keep up the amazing work. Thanks from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma
Dude. U are doing ur job very wel. Been at home from march because of the lockdown here in holland.
Been building gundam from feb. And ur vids really help.
Keep up the good work.
Wow... Very Good. I like this episode as number 2. Number 1 is MG Wing Gundam Proto Zero.
Looks great! I like what you did. I actually have two Zetas. I have the 1.0 for waverider mode and the 2.0 for the regular mode. They look a bit different but it's a cheaper option than getting two 2.0's
Absolutely amazing build.
10/10 will build again, I wanna do one in the "Red Baron's" Colors.
Despite the kit's downsides, your build is really making me excited to snap together my own zeta 2.0!!!
I would love to see you do any kit with a custom paint job! But great content as per usual! Looking forward to more from you
I agree on your finals to get 2 version. 1. The Mobile Suit Mode and 2. The Mobile Armor Mode. Because its a real pain to transform them and joints will be stiff and will break too. That's why I got 2 versions for those transformable type...

It'd be really cool to see you do a MS with a unique design, like the all gold Hyaku Shiki.
You deserve more subs!
Nice!!!!!!!!!!
When I see Zeta, I click. Nice build. Subbed. :D Did you know bandai actually had a 1/200 of this and was their first venture into incorporating pegs that fit in holes that they called "snap-Fit" technology?

PG Zeta, looks really nice on display, don't expect too much pose on that guy because of the transformation some parts are pretty weak.
Damnnnn 1😍

Where can we get the Unicorn and Granddaddy stickers? Wanting to patronize someone for those.
Was really shocked on how much you got this kit considering I got this kit for only 23 usd brand new.
Quick question: do you build and paint in sections like you've edited the video? Is the torso fully built and painted before you move on to the limbs? Or do you separate the pieces by colour and paint all the blue pieces etc in batches?
dude, I just came across your channel and super IMPRESSED with your building skills & the LEDs work. do you take commissions?

Almost the same in Canada man, I was planning on getting MG sinanju stein Narrative from Amazon at 90$CAD, but now it's at 145... I feel you
Wow i have this before but now i don't even know where it is, i'm tempted to buy a new one bc Zeta is my fav MS in the UC Timeline but Bandai still not giving Zeta the good kit it deserves, come on Bandai MG Zeta 3.0 or Ver. Ka
It's Zeta's 35th anniversary so it might happen.
@@AssaultRider555 i don't think it will happend anytime soon tho, especially since Bandai just released the new Ver. Ka being Wing Zero Custom
We’re you able to transform the zeta into wave rider mode after installing LEDs?
what kind of paint brushes do you use?
I ordered mine 2-3 weeks ago, it ran me roughly $50-$55 hyaku shiki on the other hand yeah $80
a great tutorial
Have you ever tried Vallejo's mecha color line?
Yay
When you do the PG think you'll keep it's transformation gimmick usable?
Otaku builder will you build any flame toys model kits?
Im a big fan of your work but i have a request please , can you do a project with different color scheme than the original using the new Vallejo mecha color series , i would love that you use either build strike gundam or the strike freedom gundam , thanks
Just in time for Zeta Ver.Ka?
Do one of Master Grade Astray ..
Love from Bangladesh
오 ! 제타건담! 👍Quick assembly upload channel
Can you custom zeta into starscream?
Can you do a age kit
Because the age series needs more love
Where dem sticker from please?!
4:48 Ah yes, everyone needs to have Tamiya masking *TAP* on hand when they paint
typo he had since his other videos haha
noooooo! I missed it
You know that you where named God by jobbythehong
I dont get it why is he painting those edges black after that overlap with paint? Is he doing this to do penal lining instead of using panel lining marker?

The build is awesome...but the RG is a hand grenade...NEVER PICK UP THE RG ZETA
What is the first gundam model kit to build for first timers

The HGUC RX-78-2 Revive. You can never go wrong with the classic granddaddy Gundam. THE Gundam.
I have a Real Grade of this, and damn, its frustrating to transform it. Lol.
🥰🦄📍
Recommending the rg as a cheap alternative... boy you have NOOOOOOO idea, do you?
How do I contact you for future commission?
I believe he said he’s not accepting commissions
i like your videos, but are you ever gonna change the word "ASSEMBLE" to "ASSEMBLY"? am i missing something or is this just a typo that's ticking me off more than it should?
I need this kit
you pay for this one 80$ but i'm french and i want to have one too but not at this price!... on amazon i can have to near 56 euro in exchange to usd it's near 60 usd ... i'm feel bad for you for the price you have pay

build high grade
The real grade is more hassle than anything. Do not get.
roblox
I like this video but I have one disagreement.
DO NOT BUY THE REAL GRADE.
If you even *BREATHE* on the real grade, you will end up losing 9 or 13 pieces. .
Not if you build it properly. I've got a friend who has some 12 of them, all without glue, all solid as a rock.
