Thank you so much, Pastor Bachochin. Even for a mature born-again Christian who studies the Word and sits at Jesus' feet daily to know Him better and participate in my sanctification and learn how to be a and make disciples-and who has a profound desire and sense that I need to "ready for what's coming" in my head-Luke 21:36's admonition to pray that I'll be counted worthy (plus some translations say that "I'll be strong enough to be able to escape...") was starting to trouble me... even after an intense study of Romans 8, where I was awed by how much God wants us to be secure and confident about our adoption as Sonship. Thank you, thank you, and may God bless you in your teaching of the Word. 🙏☝️🥰 🙌💪
Jesus paid it all, all to Him we owe ... sin had left a crimson stain, He washed it white as snow! Christ died for our sins ONCE and for ALL! Take heed that you do not crucify Him over and over. Embrace His truths & promises, obey His Lordship, learn from Him; don't give satan a foothold as he will not cease to cause doubt and fear. Walk as a child of our Sovereign, Eternal, Lord God Almighty if you have come to the foot of His cross in repentance and faith; for by His sacrificial blood He has made us worthy for all time❤. Thank you for this wonderfully insightful video ❤.
Thank you Pastor, excellent understanding of that passage of scripture of Matthew 24 and Luke 21. I agree with you on the understanding of the passage. So encouraging to hear this. God bless you dear brother! Awaiting His return ❤
I really like your videos, they definitely speak to me,I have been reaching out for guidance in my life being a 55 year old believer that has lost my way,I'm a disabled man that has never lost more in life while trying to follow Jesus,I just don't understand why I've lost my means to survive in life, this really feels like severe spiritual warfare,I am losing my faith in Jesus and I'm so scared that the lord has rejected me,I'm trying to keep my faith but I have nothing left to give him,my physical health is failing and mentally I can't function,I still praise Jesus I just don't know what he's saying anymore,I just pray I haven't been rejected by him,I've never had this much doubt fear and anxiety about my walk with Jesus,I'm bound and broken,I just didn't think the enemy had this much power over me, I still praise Jesus I'm so ashamed,I really need him but he's not there, please help me Jesus I can't go on without you
The moment you believed, He saved you. Your are saved by His grace. There's nothing more that you need to do. The devil loves to tell us we need to do more to be saved. We don't as Jesus did it all on the cross. Blessings. I hope you're OK, it's been a yesr since you added your comment.
Very well reasoned and presented explanation without the need to shout yell or condescend. Those who think we have to perseveres to the end in order to be saved think that somehow works are invlved in our salvation which they are clearly not. Our robes are wshed white in HIS blood, not our own. We wear the righteousness of Christ by faith, not our own filthy rags.
Thank you for the good explanation to a good question, Pastor Brian! Indeed the usage of Scriptural interpretation via Dispensationalism entails a measured distinction between Israel's Jews and the Gentile Church, giving greater contextual clarity.
When is salvation obtained? We must be accounted worthy of our calling. 1Ti 4:16 Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; CONTINUE in them: for in doing this ((thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.))Paul was telling Timothy who had the Holy Spirit, to continue in the doctrine in order that he would obtain salvation. This is true for every believer. Read the parable of the sower (Luke 8:9-15). No one is saved unless they are accounted worthy of their calling. We have the hope of salvation. Heb 10:38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. Heb 10:39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.
thank you for this important question Brian. Just who was christ speaking too? and yes, from what i have read and heard it is not the church but rather folks following the rapture. Still, even christians in the faith should pray and ask to be counted worthy i think. i know i personally do everyday since ( as you well know) i ask many crazy questions that probably teater on a non-beleiver point of view , even though i am one. And thus, that is why i ask God for forgiveness and wisdom since i am as a small child who asks many many questions and pull constantly at fathers coattails as to speak repeatedly. Like always, i learn a lot from each episode you have and thanks for this. TBP
Hello TBP: Please be aware, salvation can only be received as an Unmerited FREE GIFT Trusting Only on the death (includes the shedding of Jesus' blood), burial, and resurrection of Jesus, God the Son who came as God in flesh for salvation, with NO faith on any human effort and/or works for receiving and/or keeping salvation. The following verse applies to people in the tribulation, AFTER the rapture: Luke 21:36 (KJV), “Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.” Lord Jesus is saying (above) that they should show EVIDENCE of their Faith by praying, and that praying will bring Physical Rescue, NOT forgiveness of all sins and eternal life. They have come to faith, believing WHO Jesus is, and as a result of their Faith, they are told to pray for Physical Rescue. Then, they will stand before Lord Jesus at his second coming, after the tribulation.
Why do some bibles translate κατισχύσητε katischysēte differently. Some say to pray for "strength" while others say to be accounted worthy to escape. Wouldn't these two have very different interpretations since being accounted worthy can be seen as having faith, whereas strength might imply something is needed beyond being accounted worthy, aka faith.
I hate to say this but that's not necessarily true that every born-again Christian will escape because it talks about the 10 virgins. They were all in fact virgins, but they were five that were foolish, probably meaning looking for the world concentrating and being distracted by these things, not praying being lukewarm Etc And Then There Were The Virgins the other five that had their oil filled in other words they had relationship with him true relationship they were spending time with him and not being a part of the cares of this world and all those other things that were mentioned in this comment
God chastises those whom He loves. Many are weak, sick and have died because they will not judge themselves. The Great Tribulation is the Great Chastisement for the careless believer.
Peter was sent to and writing to Israel, not to the Body of Christ Church. Paul is the one sent to Gentiles for salvation through believing the Gospel of the Grace of Christ. By Grace through faith. Any works added to that Gospel is a perversion of the Gospel. Israel fell in unbelief, so salvation came to the Gentiles. Romans 11:11
Yeah I mean what needs to be mentioned really is the 10 virgin parable. That kind of tells it all right there. The Virgins are those that have accepted him those that are born again but five or foolish they fell asleep into their own way of life which is probably what it means and worshiped other gods butt the other virgins were ready, they have their oil filled

Thanks so much for taking the time to talk about this Brian! Much appreciated 🙏🏼
Glory Glory Glory to Lord Jesus Christ who I give Him Lord Jesus Christ a Like.
He sounds right with his explanations.

But it is the church. That's why it mentioned the parable of the ten virgins
With many of them God was not well pleased and he overthrew their bodies in the wilderness.

"Prevail to escape" is the meaning.
Then it means to endure

It's true what you re saying, he, and most on here had not said anything like this nor mentioned of the parable of the 10 virgins
gutting Gods word to where it has no effect. wow 2Pe_2:1

“Gutting” Gods Word? It’s not that sloppy son. It’s called “rightly dividing” His Word.
