You are gonna love kayak fishing Tony! Imagine all the possibilities, mission bay sand bass in the channel, back bay bone fishing with ghosties, drifting live bait for halibut, bass fishing el captain, your channel is gonna explode! And I’m here for it!! Super stoked to see you out on the yak!! Good shit bro!!
Bro it doesn’t matter what kayak you have as long as you’re out having fun with your buddies that’s all that matters I’m happy you hopped on the kayak fishing scene it’s so much fun! Let hater hate plus it’s a Hobie, very durable kayaks!
Ive really enjoyed bass fishing in lakes and ponds in North Carolina from Itrek 9 . I used mine several times a week for the last 18 months. I managed to wear a spot on the bottom from abrasions with sandy bottoms near boat launches. Small leak that is easily patched. The portability and easy / fast use of kayak has been outstanding Enjoy !
What smart and wise set up. All you need learn how to patch and that’s it will last you 10+years. I using the hobie lynx it’s been great for me last 2yrs
Tony! Proud of you brother! Now you get to explore more on that kayak! Glad you're back on the water!!! Love watching your videos! Enjoy and have fun! Be safe out there! See ya on the water soon! 🤙🏾🤙🏾🎣
siiiick! let me know when you wanna link up and get a sesh in on the yaks! it'd be good to see kenny as well. havent seen that kid since i worked at TapEx!
Make a checklist on your necessary items and double check. A lot of dedication to kayak fish. I had a fish n dive and went to a pro angler 12. Years later I got a VX cruiser jet ski which opened up fishing off the coast like La Jolla, Del Mar, and Carlsbad.
@@BearzG the reason why i wouldnt recommend wearing boots is if you go overboard i would find it difficult to swim in boots. theyre gonna fill up with water
Congrats on the new kayak. 1st thing put a leash on that expensive a$$ pedal drive lol. Just in case you need to take the drive out for whatever reason while fishing. you know it’s not going anywhere. You can attach it on the ring in front of the drive. buy a kayak paddle leash or you can make one. Anyways you have a good set up. Tight lines and catch ’em all bro
Sick dude. Looking forward to seeing more kayaking vids. Game changer bro. 🤙🏼. Have an empty bottle to pee in. Bring a stringer. Bring a bailing sponge if necessary. Sun protection always. Extra rope to tie off to buoys. And since this one is an inflatable 100% of the time bring duct tape. And get a paddle leash . Have fun!
Thanks so much for the video, I’ve been watching a lot of kayak videos fishing in the Bay and off of La Jolla cove and I’m thinking that just renting a skiff at first and see how that works for me. I’m not sure I want to invest in a Kayak because I have the same problem of where to store it.
My best advise after three years of kayak fishing, dress for dumping in the drink. Either wear an inflatable life jacket or a regular life jacket. 85% of people that die on the water drown. The other thing is tethering everything to the kayak. Rogue waves will get you from time to time. -toilet gang.
After a year of kayak fishing I finally took the time to practice standing, turning around to get stuff behind me, find the flipping point, flipping it back over while in the water and finally getting back onto it from the water. Now I have that info it eased that little voice in back of my mind Everytime I can't reach something behind me and don't want to turn around risking flipping etc😅. Definitely wear a pfd

It's about time! Kayak fishing will definitely be a game changer!
Finally! You are on the water after all these years. You are going to love it. I know some great places on SD Bay if you are ever interested.
Damn mahda sucka! The yak is fire bruh. Your shore fishing vids are on point! You're going to enjoy this new chapter. Stay safe on the water brudda 🤙🏾

Congratz on the yak! There is no "off season", that's crazy talk.
Shoot, when you see me stop posting, that's my off season haha.
Sweet man Congrats ! It’s definitely a great time being able to get out further than the rocks !! Sweet vid !!
Gracias!!!!
Been kayak fishing since 2006 and one tip is rods straps or floats for your rods also a comfortable PFD will make a day on the water more enjoyable
That’s a dope ass kayak!
Good seeing recent vids, tight lines & Cheers

Woah ! That inflatable is pretty nice ! It seems fairly stable for the bay. May be a little weird with jet ski’s flying by.
It's not too bad. Pretty stable for what it is.
Hell, yeah, hi-5 Good job super stoked. You got one Those guys at fast Lane are super cool. I picked up a passport12 off of them

Thanks for the tips!
Hey what’s good bg glad to see you back at it again mad respect hopefully I how to see you
Out there…I’ve been fishing freshwater latley
Get out there brotha!
Congrats! Breezy days can be a challenge, so bring an anchor or make a cheap drift sock out of a reusable shopping bag.
Roger that.
That’s badass I’ve been thinking about getting into the yak game. Seeing this inflatable one is making a good case.
Next spot.. jetty that comes off the Coronado military base?? Also kayak fishing tip.. go where boats can’t
Nice first session. Who cares what kayak you get as long as it works for you.
Nice multi species bag, I thought the camera and audio was good 🤷♂️
An air mattress electric pump will do 95% of the fill of the kayak for you, so you don't pump your back and arms off lol 😆
Hahahahah
@@BearzGyea bro they sell them at Walmart and you can plug it in your car charger
@@juanmacias8786 I already have one, I was just too lazy to plug it in. 😂
I'm lucky that my pops has a small fishing boat, but we've been lucky over in mission bay and la jolla for rockfish and calico!
I went out today for the first time this year, caught a spotty but is don't count since it came off when I was bringing it up the ledge.
nice to see you on a kayak! always remember to wear your pdf! ditch the boots and jeans
I'll stick to boots and some new water resistant pants or whatever. 💦
Oh and of course, PFD is a must.

Good morning happy Thursday 💜🎣 bearz G. Let's go

Naw bro it a hobie kneel and pee through the drive hole. lol

Nice. That inflatable is a nice compromise. It also has many advantages. How about High sierra lakes, etc. LOL what off season%?
Off season to me is to tend to my other hobbies during the cool season. 🤙🤙
I seen you without knowing it was you was fishing on the pier had a pretty good day as well love the kayak man 👍
Thanks man!
Great video! Thinking about getting a yak
You should!
Good fishing day 👍 👌
Yes it was!
These next videos are going to dope 🤙🏽
Hope so!
Back at it like a bad habit!
Dam. Right.
NICE!!! welcome to the club aha
I never wore deck boots on the yak because of possibility of falling in the water and boots filling.
Sweet rig! howre you liking it so far?
@@cyrusadvincula9770 I loved it, but I've upgraded to an outback since!
That’s why I float tube for the same reason as you brotha 😁🤙🏻
Hahaha the shout out for Jenny! Bah wasn’t out this day
😂😂
Do the bonito fish shows up at all in that bay ? Thanks 🙏
Yeah, very rare now.
Great vid!
I appreciate you!
Nice 👍🏽 hobie. What do you need to do for having a yak? Registration or insurance etc…
Nothing, unless you get a motor then you'd have to register your watercraft.
Crazy how the size of fish changes going out abit , get them
Yeh, can't wait to see what else there is!
He’s back at it!!! 🔥🔥🔥
Like a crack addict!
@@BearzG 😂😂👍🏻
Lol why not La Jolla 😂😂😂 Badass bro 😎
I'm not ready for it. And I'll do it on my own time. 😊
Dude I want that inflatable too! The concept is legit and I love how it’s inflatable and has a small footprint
are you going to get a fish finder?
nice boat :)
No way dude that shit is sickkkk I was thinking of getting a float tube but idk those and hobies are sick
Are you gonna work your way up to a boat? it would be great for videos, family, fun etc!
Hey,
Probably not a boat. Too much maintenance for my liking.
Dawg I need to pull up on you for some swim bait love the videos 💯🫡
Love it
Please take extra care when handling the fish. The deck of Hobie i trek is known for puncture.
Also, invest in an air pump !
Had one in the trunk, was lazy. Haha
I see an electric pump purchase in your future!
Already got one!
Hey...hey...hey....
Ya ya yaaa
Nice
Can we going fishing I live in San Diego also I will be down
Am down if u down brother
