Hola, al final le hemos sacado mucho partido a la idea que se propuso del cambio del 1 al 4 grado con la pentatónica mayor, mixolidia o escala mayor. Gran vídeo!!!
Hi Martin, great video as always. I’m looking for a comprehensive video to include multiple examples of using the “blue note” from the blues scale. Could you help a guy out? Thanks Martin!
Hello Martin, Is there a reason for specifically choosing the mixolydian mode to go to the 5th of 4 (aka root)? Or any scale /mode which has chord tones of the destination chord and works over the current chord can be used?
Mixolydian is the best mode to use over seventh chords. R-2-3-4-5-6-b7-R are the intervals played. As you can see b7th is there. When we play Blues we use 7th chords. Those chords are builds with b7th interval = R-3-5-b7 … same as mixolydian Mode.
Míster hello... No ofense... But.. You are talking about miolydian mode of C... and you are saying that F mayor is the same finguering of that mode.. But the I know that C mixolydian is G mayor no F mayor... F mayor would be C lydian
F major scale: F - G - A - Bb - C - D - E - F C mixolydian: C - D - E - F - G - A - Bb Same notes. Same fingering! Only changes the tonal center. For F major F is the tonal center (root). For C major C is the tonal center (root).
Yes, it can be confusing. The mixolydian mode of F is C, so C mixolydian is the same as F major. The mixolydian mode of C is G, so G mixolydian is the same as C major.
Really interesting haha
Never taught of it like this thanks man
keep making this great content
Thanks Martin, sweet Tele!

@@GuitarBluesHury Thanks for the reply!
Hi Marty its been a while for me but nice video, your right Matt plays that quite a lot..great though.
Hey Martin, is this backing track on your Patreon?
That backtrack is me. I use a loop pedal.
Interesting, I use the Dorian on the fourth but that sounds better
Pero el tema está en hacer el cambio a tiempo y Justo en el cambio de acorde...eso es lo realmente difícil.
Si por eso hay que practicar mucho la rítmica con acordes!
