I might give this series a try given that it seems up my alley for most things other than maybe violence, but I can get past that if the story is good. I enjoyed the episode, was a nice treat for the new year.
There's a lot of mid-20th century stuff that is similar to Psychopass, especially out of England, just less Cyberpunk-y. Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex did some interesting stuff about virtual personas as well, in the vein of the rise of Vtubers.

Loving the podcast, crew. You probably have a big anime list, but I hope you watch Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun, it's by far my favorite comedy.
