love the videos... keep it up.... try a piece of pvc pipe that fits over the throttle. it will make your steering so much easier when standing while you busy trawling. can only try it. tight lines boet

Hi Aiden, Thanks for this video. I so much want a boat - im not into fishing but Im seriously considering getting a bowrider/ski boat - just to cruise. There isnt much content on getting a skippers license here in Cape Town and the different gradings or classes of boats and so on. Like I have so many questions - do I need a specific bakkie/SUV to tow a boat? park at home or harbour? Who services boat engines? Which boat goes 15 Nautical miles etc. Anyways - all the best with the channel -- its all just great!

Lekker vid dude! How did you manage to launch and retrieve on your own?
Launching the boat I had somebody hold it for me while I went to go park the car
Retrieving the boat there was no one to help
So what I did was I pushed the boat up on the sand next to the slipway and ran up to the car and quickly reversed it into position

Next purchase should be a big as possible ice box. Never throw away any fish. Petrol costs.
