Range day routine. 1. Aim. 2. Breath. 3. Remember that you were obsessed with the Roman Empire before it was “cool” to be obsessed with the Roman Empire… 4. Trick shot.
Thank you! Though NgL If it’s been a second on the range I lament about the Roman Empire 1st, practice sight picture single shot then dbl shot, then we get freaky with them trick shots, then push out until I’m at a point I suck and know what I need to work on that day.
This was glorious. I find myself tuning in more and more to this content. At first it was just, haha, funny guys who sold me armor make jokes. Now it's... more. Not sure how to put it.
Great video. I've seen a lot of weird and dumb things as a combat vet and psychologist but the viewer comments you shared are a great example of how half of all people have below average IQ and lack nuance thinking through training tactics.
The ukemi break fall dodge roll is something everyone should learn. I've hurt my ankle before from running in flat wet grass, so it makes me wonder about running through the woods or city on a rainy day in a plate carrier to escape gun fire. I would not be surprised if it is a common occurrence on the battlefield for people to face plant into the ground. This video also reminded me of an old systema video from forever ago about how to lock people up using their own rifle and rifle strap. Using rifles as melee weapons is something I never see videos about.
The gymnastics in this one have me wondering if Nolan is seeing anyone or if I should be switching teams Also, the rifle mortar load and shot is one of the best clips I've ever seen.
" when someone is about to get HYPHY" ... must be from Nor Cal!!! 😂😂 Love the content!!! Only known about you guys for less than a year! But you guys have quickly become one of my favorite pew tubers! This whole time I had no clue you guys were up the street from me! Who the hell can flip an AR like a boss!!?? The SANDALORIAN can!!! This is the way!!!!!!
Thank you for taking the time to Q&A and teach fundamentals and techniques. YOU ARE NOW SANDAL DADDY IN MY BOOK sitting with garand thumb Flannel Daddy.
I don't understand why people are so one-track minded about training. Kinda like the guy that mentioned about there not being a need to retain your magazines. That's completely dependent on the situation you're in. If I'm defending my home from nothing more than a burglar or for when I was LEO and if I found myself in gunfight on a traffic-stop and my mag runs dry, I agree that worrying about that magazine is a waste of time. Drop that empty mag, slam in a fresh mag, and get back to work. HOWEVER, in a SHTF scenario like a tyrannical government, hostile forces are on our soil, etc., then you need to hold onto those mags. Not exactly going to be able to run to the store or place an online order for some new ones in the middle of that 💩. Once you hopefully survive whatever gunfight you're in, you need to reload those magazines you saved so you can fight another day. As always Nolan, love your videos. Keep up the shenanigans. 🤣
Getting lucky enough to play a sport in college really opened my brain up to training. Always trained my hardest but when you get to a certain level in something you start to see the depth in everything. I guess a lot of people forgot about the line “practice how you play” When it comes to defending your life and taking it serious, idk how anyone could argue training with urgency or intent is a bad thing
That last spinning jump kick, to a perfectly executed draw & cntr mass shot was nasty bro. Your whole response to the comments could have just been that 5 sec clip with a mic drop 😂😂 Just have fun with it people
Dude Y'all had me with you since "was that your carry ammo". train train train, don't just practice till you think your good enough, just practice period. Thanks for the great carrier, i could never have afforded one right now if it wasn't for that sale you had. you guys rock.
The more I watch your videos the more y'all remind me of myself and my other ex-military friends and the fun shit we do on top of running drills. Not to mention the more I watch the more I think "I would totally be friends with these dudes"
To the first comment you responded to. Flip reload. I look at it like practicing spins & tricks with the bo staff. Sure, im not gonna do some spin tricks in the middle if a fight. But, it not only is extra workout. It also increases fluidity and hand-eye coordination. Its also a show of mastery with ur tools
Bleed in the dojo…….laugh on the battlefield. Love the humor mixed with good training input. Reminds me of my rifle platoon days dicking off on the range. Keep on keeping on man.
This was glorious to watch. Rebuttals are beautifully well-played. Thanks for the entertainment, and even more importantly, the truth interwoven within it. Bravo sir, bravo.
I really enjoyed how you articulated about training vs reality and being 1% more prepared for violent engagement. As a long time martial artist and now a nurse on a trauma unit where I deal with stabbings, shootings, and thugs and their "visitors" on a regular basis, I see just how much my experience with fighting and grappling helps me in regards to controlling individuals and flipping the switch between kind and compassionate to dominate and assertive. Where I see other nurses and doctors hesitate to handle confrontation whether verbal or physical, that 1% of preparation allows me to dispense with lag time and flip that switch immediately. Inoculation is key.
Your deliver reminds me of the first time I watched a video from Mr. Ballen. A fresh, new perspective, delivered by a clearly proficient and honest man. I thoroughly enjoy your content and hope you continue to rise above those unwilling to create anything themselves. Aco. 3-227 AIR CAV Non Mihi, Non Tibi, Sed Nobis
Man I really appreciate the content you guys put out. Creatively great and also visually. I appreciate that we aren't hitting that straight out of camera, auto recording doo doo. Thanks for caring about making the videos look good.
Most of the time I really don't understand...I get the shooting part... but everything else... but I still watch and laugh. Keep rolling the one liners man
This dude cracks me up, and I am along for the ride! 😂 Its cool to see folks train new things just to break up the routine and get comfortable with your equipment.
Why have I been deprived of your content for so long? TH-cam should have notified me sooner of your existence. This is probably my new favorite channel.
Let that acoustic-ness shine!! Love it! Your videos are glorious… also… they work. I found you a couple weeks ago and immediately spent hundreds of dollars on your website.
Just got my battle vest v2 and plates the other day. Loving it! But one gripe. The shoulder straps are a tad close together for my neck and traps. But I do have pretty wide shoulders. Great product regardless!
I would have given more thumbs up but am limited to only 1. Great video and some of the best content on the internet. I break my flip-flops just thinking about walking in them. I have no idea how you do what you do in flip-flops. Incredible!!!
I appreciate how you explain your logic. It makes sense, and it's smarter than a lot of people will understand. Also you're kinda funny asf. One of the only TH-camrs that makes me laugh audibly while I'm doing the pootube thing 😂
I’ve been buying from you guys for awhile now. Never even knew you had a TH-cam channel. And now that I’ve found it…Holy Crap I’m glad I’ve given you so much of my money!!! 😂😂😂 Keep up the fun and the good work! Love you guys!
Videos keep getting better 😂 Love that you address comments and love the humor and dedication put into the way you address them! I’m worried you’re setting a pretty high bar on some of the flips and tricks tho lol! Interested to see what the next level up will be 😂😂
I'm a veteran, an LEO, and an armed citizen. Bro... this is the right mindset and training technique. I'm happy to see someone doing it right and having fun doing it!!! And the flip flops... fuck yes ... FUCK YES!!
Serious training is early on. Once you log time and get efficient, you then can have fun with it as well as testing limits. Great channel. I am new and really glad I found your page. Your sense of humor is parallel to mine which makes this even more enjoyable. Great work!
Tacticon has been nothing but great to me. For a long time I was saving in order to get all the gear I need, because of my responsibilities elsewhere I had been relegated to the "poors" of the gun world, it seemed impossible. I would need thousands just to hit the low end of "good" gear according to some people. but these people not only have great gear and great prices, they have this channel which is fun, informative and breaks your perspective on is good gear and what is good gear and overpriced. keep it going guys!
I don't know about folks hangup on training scars sometimes. Im not sure what the disconnect is. For example - I dry fire strikers off and on for years and have never manually ejected a round during live fire. Maybe its that I was not training heavily enough to actually scar.
I was going to ask you to do a back flip and shoot while you're upside down during the flip, but the spinning half-flip/kick then shot was totally freaking awesome! The problem is these girly men and manly women erroneously believe that some kind of utopian world of fair play and harmony is possible and if they project their fantasy enough on the rest of us, that will make it so. They also wish they could shut us up, but that's not happening, so they get all butthurt. Please keep making fun of them and other softies, thank you!
Haven’t bought anything from you guys…yet. In all fairness: I got burned by more than a few things 15+ years ago and decided to opt for upper tier gear since then. (Thought about listing names, but yall can probably guess which ones. I digress.) Looking back at all of the stuff I’ve either bought with my own money (mechanic $), or won through competing or raffles; I’m hard pressed to recall anything more than a Beretta 92X Performance that I didn’t feel bad about putting up for sale or trade. Seeing Nolan beat on their optics as if they owed him money is sickly satisfying and a testament to their potential. Thank you for reminding me that there is some good stuff out there at a lower price point for us mid-tier “poors”.
intensity, in terms of training, also means as realistic as possible, not necessarily a high octane environment. for example, reading a book on room clearing vs watching a video on room clearing vs actually clearing your house
You need to train for the unexpected.. Expect the unexpected because 8 out of 10 is going to be a unexpected situation.. Keep making your videos Brother , if people are really interested and paying attention then they just might learn something. Stay Safe , Focused and Strapped Up at all Times..🦅🇺🇸🦅
I found myself trying to like the video at several points, even though I already liked it. I agree with a lot of the comments, quickly becoming one of my favorites on the TH-cam’s
Range day routine.
1. Aim.
2. Breath.
3. Remember that you were obsessed with the Roman Empire before it was “cool” to be obsessed with the Roman Empire…

They're good enough for 99% of insurgents.
In the beginning, God created flip flops. Cain & Abel! LMAO

Same here man

7:39 the fact that not only he pulled off a one handed dive roll with a rifle, but also didn't flag the camera man is insane
Thanks player! I try
Sure weapons are serious, glad to see some humor added to break up the mundane repetition. Enjoyed it!
Absolutely 💯 agree!
I was 4yrs active Infantry and have an LE family. This dude is pretty on point.
I love the energy and autism you bring man!
You're a riot. I appreciate the humor mixed with solid advice and skill. I've never been disappointed by one of your videos.
The guys don't put out a lot of videos, but they always put out quality videos.
Great video. I've seen a lot of weird and dumb things as a combat vet and psychologist but the viewer comments you shared are a great example of how half of all people have below average IQ and lack nuance thinking through training tactics.
Holy Fuck! 11:57 I'm relatively certain this is what envy feels like... Amazing and yea we should all be able to do this!

A dive roll would probably be great for most people to know, as long as you do it right it can save your leg bones on a long drop
