They certainly give me chills with how much talent they have. 🤯
"Metal is music for men, and they have to wear leather jackets and jeans and sing decadent lyrics with a snarl." LOVEBITES breaks down the barriers created by these stereotypes of heavy metal.
The second solo drives you to another side of the moon.
For a minute I thought you were going to slip into a metal coma 😂 This is what these amazing ladies can do to you.
The foundation for “Break The Wall” was composed by former bassist Miho, while Miyako than added ‘color’ to the composition. Miyako composed the solo in the middle with Gary Moore in mind.
Superstars. All of them. They need to do a world tour. They should be headlining festivals all over the world. Soon they will be.
My favourite LOVEBITES thrash metal song, and in my opinion, one of the best thrash songs ever written. That Gary Moore inspired solo by Miyako is something special.

Lovebites is breaking the walls of stereotypes in the metal scene.
When Lovebites does thrash they always kill it. Next song "Set the World on Fire" live.
Lovebites just give that 'something new, something different' yet very comfy familiar feeling. It's like they've figured out the perfect blend of classic metal with thrash and some neoclassical power metal to boot. It sounds like music I heard growing up in the 80s, yet with a modern sound. Next up: "Judgement Day" with new bassist FAMI. and some classic "Set the World on Fire"
The number of metal heads that have listen to this band and just don't get it is sad. Its always something ie; " there not heavy enough, the singer doesn't scream, they wear dresses, ect.....You Sir get it and thats a compliment to you !! 😏❤️🎙🎸🎹🥁😎🤘

LOVEBITES does not remind me of any other band!!! Too much talent and style all their own
Up until Lovebites, my favorite thrash song has been "Class Dismissed" by Exodus. That was until I heard this performance the first time. This is pure thrash with a twist which is solo run. The way Midori after pure thrashing it slows it down with the ladder climb into the bass lead into Miyako's soulful solo is something just not matched in the world of thrash to me. Loved the reaction.

Pretty Princesses, destroying the typical male stereotype genre of metal, with their talent, demeanour and beauty.
I was a fan of the earliest great guitar shredders, going all the way back to Clapton and Allman. I've never heard a pair of guitar solos in one song better than this. Thanks for continuing the journey.
I feel for you man. I love watching reactors watching these songs for the first time. It's exactly how we all felt too. So many great songs to come. And you still won't believe what you see & hear for most of them.
In the composition of this song, you get the vibe of Slayer and Testament.. but when you look at the flow of the song, when you think about it, it's the reverse of Master of Puppets. Keep in mind that Puppets was basically verse-bridge-chorus-verse-bridge-chorus, then slower bass-centric mid section, slower melodic solo, faster mid-section, faster solo, verse-bridge-chorus. Break the Wall is the reverse. Faster solo first, then bass-centric mid section, slower melodic solo, faster mid-section, then back to verse-chorus. That is intentional, as they want to give you that vibe of feeling those classic metal influences while hearing something completely new.
Asami said on the beginning "Yasunderu hima nai yo." means "(You have) No time to rest."

each one of their songs has a completely different feel. a lot are 'heart attack' mode and many are 'heart wrenching' and a lot are 'heart melting' so as you say - keep that defibrillator handy. another heart attack song is the live of 'set the world on fire'. another masterpiece and this time you've been warned !

I'm ready...I hope I'm ready..... I'm not ready!!!!!! LMAO. The Wolfpack is never ready so don't worry about it. The LB experience especially LIVE is never one you are ready for but just marvel at. This is a Miho special, bassist who put this insane talent together to bring a more European sound to Japanese metal. She was always like Haruna (band mates in Destrose) little shine time but the driving force of the group. Thrash is done by this group better than anyone else today. Try Hammer of Wrath, Setbthe World on Fire, etc....
It seems only Lovebites could take a song and successfully swing a Slayer/Metallica hit with a Gary Moore-esque breakdown.. Incredible stuff.

Yes. Sounds like SLAYER (with a beautiful tribute to GARY MOORE). Especially impressive is MIDORI’s solo (her “shreddiest”) in the style of HANNEMAN and KING, only far better than anything they ever dared to imagine.

I've now watched all your great reactions to Lovebites , and believe me you've hardly scratched the surface YET 🤣 . They are insanely talented ( obviously ) and their songs always have a message .
You've hardly scratched the surface with Lovebites - but you haven't even begun to explore the Japanese Metal and Rock scene yet which is BY FAR the best in the world at the moment - there are SO MANY superb bands and I'll mention a few below which are definitely worth a look ( the list is not by any means complete and some may not agree - but it might give you a start ) -
NEMOPHILA - " Oiran " , " Zen " and " Change the World " - I'd recommend the recently released live versions from the same concert
BAND MAID - basically anything
GACHARIC SPIN - " Mindset " ( music video ) or anything live ( they're crazy ! )
NINGEN ISU - anything
BABYMETAL - anything live
MAXIMUM the HORMONE - anything
TBH - the list could be endless but this is a start 🤣

Slayer ,Metalica ,Judas Priest these are all favorite groups to the girls Haruna 's favorite is Helloween so of course you will see all these influence's with the exception of Asami (singer) who came from an r&b background but embraced heavy metal completely ah one more thing i have been practicing guitar for 50+ years now and no i cannot play like M&M lol and prolly never will some players are just naturals the rest of us have to struggle a lot more
LOVEBITES' guitar solos are not two solos of Midori + Miyako side by side, but rather ``one solo'' created by Midori and Miyako. In other words, when you paused in this video, you paused in the middle of Midori+Miyako's solo. One of the points to evaluate the excellence of their solos is the perfection of the continuation (inheritance) of the performance from M to M. Patience is required to fully enjoy its wonders.
