As a Singaporean, i'm starting to question why global indices rank my country as the place with the highest cost of living. The prices in French Polynesia are outrageous even if I read USD as SGD.

I am living in London UK, shop in massive ASDA , convert USD to Pound and beer, brie almost cheaper or similar than here , tuna about the same, no much difference to be honest, and I consider uk supermarket food prices relatively cheap compare lets say to Luxemburg ( was grocery shopping recently in LUX)

same prices as canada.. suppose at least you get real tuna and not fake dyed stuff.. nothing is really "cheap" anymore so its all depending where you want to be. pockets of thailand maybe but I was in Koh Samui and it was Worse than canada because so many people from North America/Canada/AUS moved there long ago and they just literally charge everything to match their lifestyle as they fly back home and back and forth all the tiem so they used it to keep up with a place they wanted to leave??? hmmmm and then end up ruining it for everyone
