Swati is the nakshatra of Rahu, the outcast. It is the nakshatra of scattering, dispersion (vayu). Not to just be rebellious or 'free', but to be detached. Not to identify with anything or anybody.
That's why Saturn does well here. He detaches us and just keep moving on. And the Sun is debilitated here. He can't show his true face and is forced to wear many different masks (Rahu).
It is the restlessness of Rahu which makes Swati a pretty difficult Nakshatra, but at the same time it is a very gentle (deva) nakshatra. Just go with the wind and you will be safe.
There is no cause. Life creates and recreates itself, without a goal. Like Zen teaches us: there's no coming, there's no going; just perpetual change. Be one with the change and you will be free.

My 3/10 lord mars is Swati 9th house, while Rahu in Dhanishta on Lagna!!! How do I interprete this brother
@@flyhigh5066 Dispersed energy/motivation. You want all kind of different things, especially paths to wisdom (9th house). Your career is also scattered in its purposefulness. Perhaps too much passion (Mars in Libra) You want to be the very best and succeed at the highest level (Dhanishta) or being truthful and honest, socially accepted. You overthink things. If Sarurn is strong, you will manage.
@@marrybiemond6666 thanks brother for replying, actually I changed my career recently to travel and tourism industry, now that the industry is severely impacted, no jobs. My Saturn is debilitated and retro in 3rd house aries.

And I was homeschooled as a child, by my Mother... and Jupiter is in my 4Th house! The intricate perfection of knowledge hidden within the stars is mind-blowing. Thank you for your wisdom!
Very accurate, Swati moon in the 12th house and separated from family of origin breaking cycles of dysfunctional and toxic family systems. Always felt like a lone wolf on the fringes of social groups and don’t fit in to mainstream society but sometimes I love it. At times it feels lonely but also it allows me the space I need to create so I have come to truly appreciate my solitude 😊

I have Venus in Swati with Mars in Vishakha, Jyestha Lagna. Rahu aspects from Punarvasu. I live outside the US with a vacation rental business. I feel outcaste in the US, but also, am a foreigner so, the outcaste feeling and being individual suits me to live outside my own culture. In fact, I feel more aligned with the Vedic culture of the spiritual lessons of the Vedas, than any other culture. I resonate with these deep understandings of the sutras. If one is lonely. Feeling isolated is a gift. Take notice and understand the how and why. Yes it's scary, because most times it is the self who has directed these isolating factors.

Brilliant! Mercury (ascendant lord) in Swati. Born French, grew up in Africa, lived in many countries and now French-American in the US. Generally craving and blooming in multi cultural environments. Definitely having an issue finishing things and sticking to plan because I can too easily see the errors and weak links in everything (also Moon in Virgo ascendant 😅)

Omg... I definitely have a malfunction venus/1st in swati. I can never finish my art projects or writing projects. AND I'm totally the non-conforming that knows that things SUCK but I'm just angry and miserable. Holy crap. I feel like when i was yonger society would acknowledge the type of solutions is bring to problems i see... But at this age(ive also lived away from my hometown for 10years) people find me problematic that i don't think like them or have a similar lifestyle or values. Im not valued by others for my difference... I also try to find others like myself, but every those people will judge me as too "normal", and I'm like this is somebullshit, universe. Mark up your mind... Honestly id just be happy if i could finish the projects and ideas i come up with. It really is frustrating....
Please finish such projects my friend! We are all counting on you!!! Don't decide to deceive yourself out of fear or lethargy. Show us your truth and wealth of experience. Bring it before us. Show your love to us. Be the devine being you were born to be.

I have sun/moon in libra swati nakshatra in 12th house of pisces. I have such an urge to just keep travelling abroad and gaining spiritual experiences. I always crave for freedom and individuality. I have met so many strangers in so many different countries and they love me so instantly. Im such a social butterfly talking to every stranger but not losing my individuality while in a group. Big non comformist. Always been the rebel and get into trouble with my parents who were super indian traditional. But i broke it and dated italian. One love, one universe. And always outspoken against government ulterier motives and conspiracies. This resonates perfectly.

Absolutely spot-on. Swati native here and also Jupiter is in it. Also Saturn is exalted in this nakshatra in d9. Aimlessness has been an issue for me far too long. I'm an artist and thinker and a self-made man in the land of shepherds and merchants where nothing ever happens.

I have sun/mercury in swati in the 8th.....in mercury dasa now.....the vata nature of mercury in swati is really challenging, particularly with the constant upheavals of the 8th house...
You make that sound so much easier than it is. FYI oxygen is not a solo act; oxygen toxicity can happen. Not all "intelligent" (?) or rather goal oriented non conformity is embraced 100% there are hardships. Very much so. I received the highest federal hospital honor but was also suspended for a few days. I like your videos for real just sometimes I am like man you a smooth talker lol

Dear Vic, why did you mention Saturn here? Because the first time I saw this I couldn't help but think it was because Saturn is supposed to be exalted here. But now that I have been introduced to the tropical system(by you), Saturn being in swati would mean Saturn is in Scorpio. I do not know how it does in Scorpio tbh but it is supposed to be an enemy sign.

What makes nakshatra malfunctioning? The presence of malific planet or disharmony of the planet that stays in it. How do this two "rings" of personal chart - rasi and nakshatras - actually interact? Which has a priority or more influence?

Do you have any advice for increasing focus Vic? I was wondering why i suck at focusing and finishing stuff. I have mercury in swati and maybe this is why im all over the place . Its strange because i have 3 planets in visakha so i REALLY want to focus but its HARD.
maybe its BECAUSE of 3 planets in Vishakha, you have too many goals?

Vic, do stotra mean "...for imperfection" or "...from imperfections". Your explanation renders it's "from", however text states its "for", which was hard to follow as why would one strive for imperfection. Thanks!

"for the sake of imperfection" means "to get rid of imperfection"

now I understand those are the swati viewers.. who dislike videos without watching the whole video and don't know themselves what they dont like.
Beautiful series of videos, but I do feel like a little interpretive slippage happened here. In the other nakshatra videos the nakshatra requires something to make something. Here the thing that is being "made" IS imperfection, not the fixing of it. But you say that this star is about "fixing" imperfections... that doesn’t seem like it's taking the verse seriously. Imperfection ITSELF may be valuable, like in evolution & natural selection. What is imperfect is only so in one context... and may well be extremely valuable in another. Or perhaps even, like some avant garde artists suggest, there is simply something beautiful in imperfection for its own sake.
"for imperfection" can be taken as both "for making imperfections" or "for dealing with imperfections." However, it is clearly stated in several places that all Nakshatras and Gods want ultimately to make auspicious effects. Therefore the second meaning is more viable.
