Love Magha and even as a small child I’ve always felt protected. I was terrified of the dark but could take down a bully on the school bus with one look 🤣. My inner authority is righteous and stands in truth, makes for an interesting time when there’s trouble in ‘them there hills’. I have maga ascending.I am a very moral person.I never do any wrong.I have fought against so many dishonest people and I have always won.
My father has a new moon conjunct venus and mars in magha in the 2nd house. He also has a sarpa dosha. His battle was internal. He was living in a cardboard box when he met my mother and fought addiction for 25 years. He will be celebrating 30 years clean next year thanks to my mother who pushed for him to dedicate his spare time to charity and public service. Even throughout his struggles, he remained the most compassionate and kindest man I have ever known. He is also super creative, a walking library and a mathematical genius. He managed to defeat his addiction without causing any harm to our family or himself. He now dedicates his time helping others beat addictions.

Great video. I'm Magha Asc and Venus R. Sun Purva Phal. I've noticed through my life, yes people that have wronged me totally get knocked down in their lives later on! My father was a Leo Rising. I'm quite like him. Very independent, throughout my childhood he was very brash and loving. He used to tell me to be myself and follow no one ever! Don't be a kiss ass! lol He taught me to be rebelous, be smart, have substance! Ive not heard this explanation expressed like this before, so thank you very much!

As a Magha Ascendant the worst enemy that I have come to face is myself. The corrupting forces within each of us is going to be our most formidable foe. So, be on the lookout whether if you’re really battling others because you think you’re right or because you’re really right. Magha energy also has the conferred power to destroy oneself if the enemy is within you. So, be careful.

I agree with you ,I win verbal battles without saying too much and as soon as the other person feels they are immoral,they get out of my way easily and the one who don't,They face consequences naturally. I am also connected to my ancestors a lot and when people try to do something wrong with me,They suffer due to my wrath which I don't easily show. I have strong magha placement in my chart as well. My husband has his Moon here. He has been a huge part of my journey to get my toxic/abusive ex off my back...and the best part is, he's never spoken ill to him or even threatened him. Just be being himself, he has exuded authoritive energy that has made my ex back off.

im a white guy, magha lagna, who grew up in mostly hispanic los angeles county. was always outnumbered racially speaking. not one person ever tried fighting me even in fairly rough schools. but i nearly got into a fight with my own brother one day when i was protecting my sister. i basically roared like a lion and said "i will destroy you", much like the apabhramsa. waited for him to look away and then he eventually walked away. im grateful for the magha power, since im fairly short guy. haha

I just imagined someone roaring in the middle of a fight. Freakin hilarious. I would then and there bust out laughing if someone did that when fighting.

This nakshastra blesses my chart, with the greatest beneficence which looks upon all there with the greatest blessing or not at all.
Throughout my life, seen as an object of desire which people desire to own and control. However the dangers, obstacles and pains which faced me, they never have truly blemished or taken away the hopes, dreams or journey towards reaching them. inherently there is luck and protection.
Never seeking conflict, somehow always faced. The optimism that comes alongside after having licked ones wounds, is saving grace.
Understanding what is moral and fair. reasonable and good. But never allowing for yourself to be sacrificed.
Fascinating! Sun and Mercury (AK) in Magha and... I've never had anyone directly come up to me but the phrase "you don't wanna fight me" has always popped in my head if I imagine the situation, I feel a power coming from somewhere, now I know where it comes from! Also, I know if I ever witness someone harming an animal in front of me... I'll crush them, I don't think I'll be able to repress the fierceness, it's quite scary.

You described exactly what i feel every days.my birth nakshatra is magha pada 4,also have saturn and moon conjunction in magha.Been 8 years in a foreign country with a man he is abusing me each day,he cheated always disrispect me treated me like garbage bin,i’ve always worked hard each day in his restaurant because he did not have enough money or kindness to let me stay at home taking care of my 6 years old girl.When i work he bully me abuse me call me name like ‘hurry up pig’ or ‘lazy italian’ (i am not!).i hate disrispect i cry every night and ask the great masters to show me the path because i have no way out but let this person do as he likes.specially when he say ‘if you say just one word forget your money’ he is vary vendicative and narcissist.i pray everyday that something or someone destroy him.i try to do what is right,im sagittarius and i hate unjustice but i just cant stand up and set miself free,all i do is cry and pray.

Thank you. This is so applicable to my life lol. I didn't know I do this. I'm magha moon. I had a feeling to go into law, despite the mental challenges. All thought I'd go into programming, what with the ease with which I build computers and program software. But opportunities keep coming to me in law and people always assumed from the moment I was an intern that I know the correct solution to win. I don't actually like law, and I don't always know the best options, but I'm effective. It's true that I align myself with the "right" side. I try to do this in every aspect of life. So I often feel passion or confidence to execute, find a way to win or mediate for peace.

Great video again, Vic, but I don't think that you need a badge in Magha. Ketu makes you invisible. If you know who you REALLY are, and are truly selfconfident, you are invincible; one with the unity of being: no opponents.

I feel this too much, my Rahu is in magha and everyone beats me down or try to including my parents. My mum openly against me, she wants to destroy me and dad is my hidden enemy. I sit down and cry with my dad and we got closer, we are better than ever. I absolutely hate to cry in front of others, specially in front of my enemies. I've never heard this interpretation before Vic so I had to listen twice, really interesting. I have venus in magha and my father has mars there. We both are very moralistic people but his approach is more confrontational lol. He definitely made me cry when I gave him attitude growing up, but we get along just fine now.
It only makes sense for those with Asc or Moon in Magha.

I have Magha Mars and Ashlesha Mercury...it's very weird how seduction can bend possible harm...cause you would normally think that seduction can only create trouble in dangerous situations. But combined with Magha, it actually makes seduction an authority and the opponent starts to question if he's even "good enough for the job"😂😂😂 and sooner or later he abandons the plan...most times he even apologizes, "admitting" that they are not good enough, that they have so much to learn. They either become your students, or your strong connections for future endeavours...strong, because they are based on honest respect and admiration.

Maybe set your own intention or affirmation each and every day upon waking up like "No weapon formed against me shall prosper, and I will refute every tongue that accuses me." I do it everyday along with protection mantra just to get thru the day and I haven't dealt with malice from other like I used to prior to affirmation. Word are powerful use it.
Love this video, Vic. I just got your chart assessment and working my way through it. (Current mood - absolutely tired of myself. Haha!). I have Magha moon and want to share some thoughts:
The translation of defeating the enemy through tears, weeping, wailing - an association or definition of that translation for me came to mind. tears can be tears of regret or shame, dispersing/destroying evil by the purity of its opposite, its antidote, and therefore bringing the truth to light in such a piercing way that the evil-doer or -thinker is suddenly aware of what they are thinking or about to do that they basically break down in tears. instant regret before they have even done anything. the idea of having a badge that shows the world you are protected by a higher authority or have power vested to you by a higher source, could this be more metaphoric? Could be interpreted as being gifted power by the truth of God which one only receives/is gifted IF one lives a moral virtuous life (forgive me if I am not totally using the correct words. i don’t think i am). but the point is that the gift is dependent on one’s own deeds and actions being in line with higher truth and only then will one have the gift of power, “with great power comes great responsibility” meaning if you have applied your responsibility you earn the power, the gift. then you need another layer of responsibility, you earn that and so it goes on, it is a cyclical process, not just a 2 step linear thing. then you can apply that power in the correct way, the fair way. the just and loving way… what do you think?
This concept came to mind, because hearing your description of magha reminded me of something from my childhood. a spontaneous resurfacing of a strong memory. i used to imagine that it was possible to “heal” a person or show them the truth of who they are or how they were acting, simply by looking them in the eye. somehow transmitting the hard cold truth but with such pure love, such divine truth and love that they understand it all in that instance. like applying an antidote directly on to the source, like if a venomous snake bit you, and you could instantaneously produce the antidote before the venom could even enter the bloodstream. I imagined that this act of staring someone in the eye would be done by a child, showing the purity and innocence of a human being in contrast to the evil. done with such simplicity and courage that the innocence has to win every time. as if, all we needed in a courtroom or life's battlefield was for a child to look everyone in the eye and the truth would come out and justice would be done. still a war or warrior archetype, but a peaceful warrior child, before there ever was a need for armour or fighting technique or physical destruction. no talking or arguing required. i realise how grand or aggrandising this sounds reading it back, but i don’t know how else to put it. it wasn’t about me (ego me) in that moment that I imagined this as a child. i was just thinking about how would a saint solve problems and what would it require to be a saint anyway. I was trying to grasp this notion that Jesus Christ and the saints (in Catholicism, which I grew up around but was not a part of) were seen as ideals to strive for, but that for some reason we were not meant to reach (or not allowed to reach?! rabbit hole...can of worms….not going there) and I think my childlike answer was that any child knew right from wrong and could quite easily see how hatred develops and is perpetuated amongst grown ups and if only a child’s stare was given deserved attention by the wise elders who would help to administer the remedy, if you will, this antidote, then we could curb humankind’s growing temptation to lie/cheat/hate/steal etc... i just remember believing that it is humanly possible and that I (or anyone else if they choose to) have this power to transmit the truth or the light to anyone with just a look…well, that is my long-winded thought process. I also notice how far removed I now feel from this childlike notion. I have been alive for long enough to have been a liar and a cheater on many occasions myself, so who am I to pierce anyone else with the truth. maybe i need to deepen my understanding of love, how destruction is also a part of life (Kali?) and the act of giving truth as an act of love? maybe? …
