Such a clever idea with the magnets and you could’ve also drilled out holes with an e-file and embedded the magnets in the top and also in the actual jar itself, but I mean you can only spend so much time on these things I know, especially when you have orders to fill.🤷♀️ I just love seeing you come up with ideas and you’re so inspirational to me. You give me the best ideas that I never would’ve thought of. I just love your channel.❤

You are the queen of improv! If you’ve ever seen Raku pottery, it has those natural blemishes in it and it’s still beautiful. So is that jar! Next time you’ll use epoxy and can color it the same as the mica powder. If you mess up the powder, shake some flakes in there. Cover and shake it to cover. Then dump it out. It totally works! You don’t even have to paint it to begin with. The shell bowl is stunning! Blessings!

I actually like that lid like that better than flat. Don’t feel bad, not that you do, but I saw another TH-cam channel do that same jar. She did the exact same thing! It must be really easy to not see it! I love it anyway! I think you did a great save.

If you put some guilding glue or tack it on the top of the lid you could brush your mica on and then top coat it.

Oh how I love both the dish & the jar. The jar could be used in a bathroom or bedroom with cotton balls in it. No one would know about the mistake you fixed, the jar just looks like a normal jar.

You could have put your mica powder in UV resin and top coated it ❤😊
You also could have put the lid on the jar the way it was intended and glued some of those little roses that you’ve made from extras.

You could have cover the correct side of the lid with a top coat of resin colored with the mica powder.
Did you know specialty resin has a semi transparent pu-resin? I used it in my last video! It's awesome stuff! 10-15 min cure time, can't get better than that!!! These came out gorgeous as expected since it's a glitz and glitter video!
Why not make a 2nd lid and glue them together?? This way you can use the seal and top it like you want?

I love the jar and your Mom’s dish. Over the video, the swirls on the jar look fine. To me they kind of antiqued it. I guess you could paint some antiquing on it and make it fine. I looked for the mold on your Mom’s dish in the description. I also looked on your eBay site thinking it might be one you made. Do you mind telling me where you got it? PS. It's meant to have a flat top that's what mixed me up. This was the first time I used it so now I know for next time.

Turned out very nice - as usual! Would it have worked if you had coated the lid with UV resin, cured it only until tacky, brush with the mica powder then another coat of UV resin and fully cure it? I don't know... 😁

I just search “charms” or “nail charms” on both amazon and temu. And a lot of them have been mailed to me as well from viewers. I think you can find some at Hobby Lobby type stores too but they will be more expensive.
Where can I find that abalone plate mold you made? I couldn’t find in your store.🤷♀️ That jar mold top made me crazy too when I made it! I ended up filling the top of the mold halfway with resin after I made and cured the entire mold, but what I did was I attached half of it to the bottom so it’s like the bottom matches the top. I don’t know. It’s so annoying and it didn’t come with any like pictures either so I improvised as well, but yours came out beautiful

Hi, wow, the tray for your Mom came out fantastic. I checked your description, but I didn’t find anything. If you don’t mind, can you tell me where do you buy your charms from? Have you ever used the glue called B6000? If so did you find a difference between that & the E6000. I had ordered it from Temu, but didn’t realize it was the wrong one until after I received it. PLEASE MICHELLE WEAR A RESPORATOR, esp when using PU resin. It's SO bad for you. Unless you have industrial extractor fans in your room, and even then, I'm worried for you. We won't know the difference. If you voice over for a bit ❤❤❤ please look after yourself ❤❤❤
When I start my resin work few years ago, no one tell me how portnent respirator is. My first art work was uv resin and ten minutes and my lungs burning. I come fever and i can't breath. My lungs hurt 2 months and i can't speak normaly. After that i allways wear respirator and other things what need to use with resin. (Sorry my english, this is not my language) ❤️ This fumes can cause canser and COPD 🥺
