Hi Michelle, everything came out beautiful. I especially like the coasters however that chain with the stupid in it we’re pretty rad. But that woke up that woke up is so cute now I would sit that cup on the back of the sink because I’m always going in and getting ready to do the dishes or cook something with my rings on and I could just take my rings off put them in the cup and, have to worry about where they are or losing them in a pot or something or down the drain. It is super cute. Enjoy your weekend that’s coming up lol❤❤❤

Everything looks awesome! That metallic mica tends to form a film on top as it cures. It is really hard to clean that powder off your skin too!

Coasters are meh but the colors are nice together. It helped a lot to put the flower stickers in the middle of the second set.

I always thought to achieve crackle you need a mica and pigment with the clear push.
It’s best (in my opinion) to use two micas with clear on the bottom and then clear on the top middle.

I recently purchased a vacuum pot and watched numerous videos on using it. Unfortunately, none of the tutorials mentioned how long to leave the resin in the pot, or whether to leave the pump on or off after a certain period of time.
There’s no one time, it depends on what kind of resin and how much. I just stand there and watch it. When it’s done (3-5) minutes I stop it and release the pressure and the rest disappear. Leave the motor run the whole time.

PearlEx has a couple of silvers that don’t float. One is called antique silver, and the other is just silver. I’ve used them both but not for crackles but my guess is they would work.
You can put your little hippo on your scale to see how much you need for mixing
He is either 2 ounces or 2.5 ounces no more and no less

Quick question: Do you ever pre spray the mold with mold release vs 99% alcohol? Is there a difference in the finished product when using the two? Anyone who knows can help. I'm curious if this will help with my surface bubbles. 🤷🏾♀️ Thanks 💕
Yes sometimes I use both, mold release first, let dry then alcohol to avoid bubbles.
