    What if a restaurant can take order only from 8am to 7pm how can you add that to your website ???

    I would like to understand how Wix point of Sale system would integrate with the Online store. For example, we are small bakery. I would love to offer the option of ordering it through the website, but stock of the baked good can be unpredictable at best. One day no-one wants an oatmeal cookie a week later someone wants like 4 dozen. I would like to know if there is any way that at the POS with Automatically or Manually, I can enter that it is out of stock, because I just sold the last cookie I baked to someone sitting at my restaurant and someone can not order that online anymore?

    Can I connect a card reader to my website/dashboard for in-person payments? I prefer not to use the Wix stores e-commerce page and only want to accept payments through our new online restaurant app. Customers would be able to pay both online and in-person, with the latter option allowing us to mark invoices as paid/fulfilled manually. We are told to add a webhook but that appears to be more for e-commerce store.

    Hi wix team, is there any way you can add few line of HTML java script code for embed the ordering system in to another CMS like wordpress, so the online menu can be added to any third party website which is already built in Wordpress or Joomla etcetera

    hi Wix team is there any way the order will be accepted automatically?.
    and the order will be printed automatically without clicking print button? because some of my restaurant super busy the restaurant don't have time to play with the dashboard.

      Hi Ohid, It is not possible to get incoming orders automatically accepted. However, it is possible to automatically print all new orders via WiFi printing. Those kinds of printers have their own email addresses and their emails should be added to the Restaurant's notification settings (Settings > Online Ordering > Notification) to set up automatic printing. Every time a new order comes in, the system sends a notification to the printer's email which then prints the order. Note: this method can only print on A4 paper.

    Please I need help. I am searching how to get my menu into the order tab. I have followed the steps on here and at 4:03 mins to this video he turned on the app and it automatically went to the order site and all of his items were on page. But when I followed it, my order tab was still blank. Could you please help me. Thank you.

    I have this in place, however in order to ensure social distancing with pick-up orders, I need to find a way to limit and manage pick up 'slots'. I have turned on the catering option to force customers to chose a pick up time, however I can't see a way to actually manage this. How do I stop all customers selecting the same time? If one customer selects 17:00, I want this time to not be available for others. Also is there a way to do the same for phone orders? These all just appear as ASAP and its not easy to manage with the kitchen

    Can Wix restaurant be intergraded with my POS system or will I have to check into my website to see if I have an order waiting? Because it would be crazy to check in on one more order taking service. I have Uber eats, Slice and grub hub

    Loving the Restaurant App, great work, and thanks for the webinar very informative. In the current climate, there is a huge issue in Ireland and I am sure many other countries where queuing for food pickup is both time consuming and difficult to manage social distancing. With all that said and maybe I am missing it but is it possible for a customer to specify a time and date for pickup or is it just delivery only? I am currently in the process of setting up a business service to many businesses and this has been a requirement from them. Would really appreciate your help. Thanks.

      Hi after looking closer I have found the issue and really wound be super if you could fix. If I add items to my cart using the DESKTOP/LAPTOP selecting a pickup time works fine (REALLY WELL) but while using the mobile to order if I add items to my cart and then click on the cart button it will give me the option to select a pickup time BUT if I just click on ORDER NOW then I do not get the option to select a pickup time.

    1. the notification call when order is coming is not stable, sometimes there's no call sometimes it takes more than 5 minutes after rang or even after order was canceled .
    2. If you can make it alarm until someone has actions with the order it would be good. Because now it only make sound from the computer not from the app

    nice video! and i got a question for the restaurant version of wix regarding to google analytics. can you use the data if people put your orders in the cart? because for now it only count as one page called orders

    Is there a way to make the "tip" button for people to add onto their order already pulled up and not shown as optional and then be populated or to allow pre-selected percentages such as 10%, 15% etc. and is there an analytics to show how much in tips were made by day, week, month, etc... Thanks!

    thank you for the support with the video. i have already added wix restaurant and bothering in the middle.i have created a pizza online ordering page and added the menus. As my requirement, the single selection is fine to use as it is the size. then depending on the size that customer selects, price of extras vary. eg: if customer selects small size, extras only cost $0.20. But if the medium size is selected extras cost $0.60. Any solutions that can use to solve this matter. Thank you

    Hi! I want ask you one thing about Wix Resturant, is it possible to hide the item "Special Requests? On the page of Wix Resturant (under the total) and on the (when i click one plate).
    Can you let me know if it's possible? Even using Velo or whatever, I'm going crazy.

    Is it possible to be able to enable customers in the restaurant to place orders, adding a table number? I can't see where the form could be customized to do this; overall it looks good but there is a real need to be able to have the ability to have at table ordering. Thanks in advance.

      Hi Victoria! Currently, Wix Restaurants allows you to create only one restaurant location per Wix Restaurant site. Therefore, it is not possible to offer pickup or delivery from multiple locations (i.e., different branches). Sorry about that.

    1) Are there options for the customer to modify an existing delivery? For example if i were to place a order fir next week, do i have access to my order that i can modify the food and delivery location?
    2) If i placed a order for delivery can i switch it to a pickup ?

      @@Wix currently, under phone order section, it doesn't allow for us to choose the date and time instead it's based on the delivery lead time set down in the delivery areas. I would like to see if there's a possibility to key in future orders using the phone order, but the order form has to be able to reflect the specific date that we desire.

    Brewery and tap room are given as examples of people selling online in this video but Wix tells me I can't sell alcohol online even thought I have all the necessary licenses to do so?

      Means customers cant add their physical address for delivery on map.
      Which make delivery option baseless .Restaurant is in India, Delhi

    The use of non-native English speakers in this video was a big turnoff. I stopped watching 10 minutes into it. I'm a minority myself but I know that just because you can speak English, doesn't mean you "think" in English. I really wanted to learn from this too. I hope you take this into consideration for the future. Some of it was glossed over too quickly also from the little I saw. I'm a complete newbie at this so more detail and clear procedures were needed. Thank you.

      @@Wix Ouch, that gives me pause. I was heavily considering using Wix as a platform and I still might, but the prospect of dealing with a non-US based team worries me. That's why the trend now is for service companies to have US based customer service and advertise that because a lot of customers dislike dealing with heavy accents and cultural differences when it comes to attitude and conversation.
