Can’t tell you how off putting it’s been to watch a certain other Aussie youtuber repeatedly purchase bags with the main intent of creating content for her channel only to return them after aggressively pawing the bags on camera. Pochette Metis in Monogram is one of my favorite handbag ever. Love it and have no intention of getting rid of it. I have the Loewe Puzzle bag in the same color and don't think one excludes the other... But what matters is that you're happy. Best wishes from Brazil. Xoxo

Those bags she sold I never think of buying them. A lot of people have it for the same reasons why she bought it in the beginning. I have learned now because reselling bags, you’ll loose a lot of money.
I find myself gravitating towards the "small" sizes of bags since they fit my frame and i'm not sacrificing what I can carry. I am definitely still on the hunt for the right mini bag since I do believe there is a time and a place for one but going forward I only see myself selecting bags that I have the potential to wear to work.
Ah, I was so surprised that you sold that beautiful berry mini, but now I can see why - your Kelly 25 has that similar pop of color. Both are gorgeous, but it makes sense to keep only one.
I think you've done a marvellous job in culling your collection to a usable collection. I'm doing the same thing, I've culled mine from 26 to13 since last year. I'm looking to get a backpack and Keepall and then I'm done. I hope 🙏
Thanks for doing this video. I always find why bags didn't suit other people's lifestyle so helpful. It's interesting that many young women are selling the Chanel Jumbo because it does fit in with their lifestyles. I found that when I was younger and working full time. I am older now and not working full time anymore and the jumbo has suddenly come into it's own in my life. It's the perfect lady who lunches bag. I can see myself getting a lot more use out of it in retirement.

Definitely appreciate videos like this! Even if the reason you sold is just to streamline your collection, it's nice to know that you choose some bags over others. I totally agree that I don't necessary find unboxing videos super helpful if I'm seriously considering a bag!

That was such an incredibly helpful video! I, too, am trying to think hard about every single purchase and the purpose it will serve, and trying to not buy something if I already have something else that serves the same purpose. I’m loving each and every bag more now that I’ve sold the redundant ones and the ones I didn’t really use. I don’t own a Chanel yet, so this was so so helpful. My favorite looking bag is the boy bag, but everyone on You Tube says how much they don’t like it. It’s nice to know why.

I have often wondered why this much thought is not put into action before buying a bag. Maybe, it’s my age because I know what I like and seldom deviate from it. Where I live, I have REALLY good shopping so I can try out bags in person before I buy.
@@dinavienna Still doesn’t answer why this kind of thought is not done before a purchase. In my current collection, I only have one handbag that I regret buying. I know what I like and what works for me. I don’t like complicated openings or closures. I don’t buy bags that don’t fit my phone. It just seems like, at times, that aesthetics outweigh functionality. You can have both without making costly mistakes if you think more with your head and not with your eyes.
Fashionable Lena: I agree. I understand a ‘mistake’, but, when I go to buy a designer handbag, I weigh carefully, beforehand how much I’ll likely wear it, how it will work in my wardrobe, etc. However, my collection is rather small, and I have no interest in trying to sell a bag at a later date.

That's good you got rid of them if they annoy you. I hold on to them idk why but now I'm definitely going to do a vlog sale. Im sure it feels good to let them go. I recently sold my LV Artsy & I'm glad I did. TFS

And I have to admit, the question about redundancy is something that made me think a while ago; even though I love all my bags, I, too, tend to use the same bags when I'm on the fence about choosing one or the other. Makes me wonder if I should consider selling some of these bags; problems are 1. I don't know if I would be able to part with the bag (🤦🏻♀️😂); 2. I've never sold anything before, so being in Europe, I don't know where to sell them safely without losing too much money; 3. I'm a little afraid of having seller's remorse (adds up with No. 1). They are definitely amazing bags, if they work out for your style, keep them and love them. However, if you have any doubts, it’s good that both hold amazing resale value so you will get most of ur money back, should u ever decide to let them go☺️ xx
Any Chanel bag will hold its value over any YSL. All I buy is Chanel now, and I am considering Hermes. Anything else just doesn't hold its value from an investment standpoint.

They are definitely amazing bags, if they work out for your style, keep them and love them. However, if you have any doubts, it’s good that both hold amazing resale value so you will get most of ur money back, should u ever decide to let them go☺️ xx
Any Chanel bag will hold its value over any YSL. All I buy is Chanel now, and I am considering Hermes. Anything else just doesn't hold its value from an investment standpoint.
