It makes me feel all warm inside and makes me smile to eat really tasty yummy food! Anyway, we go to Santa Monica often in the summertime so when we go there, I'm gonna have to remember this spot.
Filipino fun fact: the lemon has a purpose. It is meant to be sprinkled to the pancit. Since calamansi is not widely available in the U.S. they use lemon as a substitute. In the Philippines, commonly pancit like bihon, canton, palabok, etc., is sprinkled with calamansi. Filipino squeeze the calamansi (or lemon) on a spiral motion at the top of the pancit and then mixing it up, to add another taste to the dish and put it on a higher level. Calamansi is also sprinkled on sizzling sisig.

5:54 it's called sweet chili sauce. if u want to make it urself, just use tomato/banana ketchup + a little water + sugar + chili flakes- mix them all and put it in a pan and use medium heat. keep stirring until it feels like the consistency is slightly thicker. then ur done 👍🏻
I'm surprised of how "tortang talong" looks like in this video, but it sure is delicious. normally in the philippines its more like a dark color when cooked. because its just egg and eggplant being combined. all the food is delicious ^^

Anytime I have my daughter with me and we are doing a feast together I always go off of her speed. I just got to just help Lead her sometimes bc she does get so focused on one thing at times.
