This movie is a sci fi gem. My mom rented this movie for me back when I was a kid. It was an awesome movie experience. But I couldn’t remember the title and for years I looked for it. I finally found the Scream Factory Blu-ray edition.
That killer CD shooter was fucking awesomely ridiculous. God I miss those old video store days. I used to hound my dad every Friday night to go rent a movie.
Fun fact "I come in peace" was a big advertisement for Calico Firearms an uncle of mine worked for . Alien uses a pistol made by company , they also made 4 other guns. The AR/BR model was weird looking
i remember wanting one of those disc launcher gauntlets after seeing it in action (my first viewing was about half way through as i was channel surfing until i saw this tall alien looking freaky dude fire a cd from a gauntlet on his wrist) ... i had no context for what was going on ... but it was badass!! ive now seen the movie in full about 4 times
The last line of the movie, "I come in peace. Then leaving pieces a******" 😂😂😂 f****** classic. Who could ever forget this movie. And how in the hell did this come to be a cult classic. This is an awesome movie
I Come In Peace 2 would be pretty cool. Dolph playing an unhinged crazy washed cop whose reputation was ruined by a government coverup, teaming up with a female alien to fight more aliens as the original alien villain is resurrected?! Hell yeah! I'll definitely check that out.
Some of your back catalogue has been popping up for me now and again. This is one of my favourite films of all time and is so underrated. I wish it got more love and more attention. Everything fits together perfectly, the characters, the soundtrack, the flow of the story is quite procedural in a good way. A sequel would be feasible but I would only want to see it done right. It wouldn't need a blockbuster budget, just a decent one. The right script would be so important.

I think a remake of this 1990’s movie (DARK ANGEL) should be considered getting made; But I think the remake version should be titled differently. Now I saw this movie, I genuinely enjoyed seeing it, I thought it was really interesting, and if I was a MovieCritic I would of given it Two Stars plus half a Star.
Really good movie, I wouldn't mind a remaster version for DvD and a novel, I also wouldn't mind a 2 or something. But seeing Talec with eye lasers and tentacle, I don't know he was awesome as he was. If they do finally make 2 I hope they bring back Brian Benben (Agent Smith), Betsy Brantley (Diana) along with Dolph Lundgren and Matthias Hues.

I watch this and The Borrower(1991) on ch11 when I was younger. *The Borrower* needs an ep!! it might have been slow but the premise was out there. About an alien going into prison(which is earth) and crash lands losing his head, forcing him to take others, ie the name.

I'm glad it was dropped. it doesn't fit. at all. if you were in a video rental store during the mid 80's to mid 90's you saw how those films were marketed and titled. typically a title like Dark Angel would make you think of a sweet young lady was either brutalized herself or someone she loved did. she turns into an avenging Angel or Dark Angel.
ON A SEPARATE NOTE; WHAT I WONDER ABOUT INVOLVING THE ALIENS & EARTH’S HUMANS & MORE: First off, I think if a remake of the year1990 movie (DARK ANGEL) might not be possible to do; Than I suggest why not have a show series get made that is based on the movie of (DARK ANGEL) & I suggest have the title of the show series be a different title. Now I wonder what type of hybrid might come into existence if this type of alien species mated with a human being, and I wonder what type of abilities the hybrid might develop?

Seeing them up against the Alien or Predator could be pretty wild.
