    Hello Lauren, I have a some questions:
    1. So when you have a new client, is your first initial interview online or physically??
    2. Do you need experience in some niche, like Architect? I want to help architect entrepreneurs.
    Thank you in advance.

    • @freemamatv
      @freemamatv  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      no one has experience when they first begin :) to niche down, start doing market research - talking to people in your network (in your case architects) and asking them questions about what they need help with in their practice. As far as interviews (when you're self employed it wouldn't be an interview so much as a sales call or discovery call) it could be in person or online. My clients are all over the world, so I use zoom :)

    Hi Lauren. I saw one of your videos on TH-cam and I am reaching out, in case you’re willing to help me at all. 💗
    I have always loved Pinterest, so I started looking into Pinterest management. Eventually, I came across your lovely brand.
    Are there any good resources that you would recommend looking into with info on pinterest management?
    I’m only fifteen, so I’m nervous that people won’t take me seriously, due to my lack of experience, but I look at it as an opportunity to charge less off the bat and rather increase my rate later.
    I appreciate any help you’re willing to give me.
    Kind regards,
    ElliAnne. 💗

    just gonna put my comment here, to see if maybe someone could help me. so I have a bachelor degree in accounting and I am certified of using quickbooks in LinkedIn, also I would say that my english somewhat in upper-intermediate. I feel like I have enough to actually start to become a VA especially in helping people do their bookkeeping. But finding a client is real hard, and I have no guide to do it, whenever I want to enroll in some free webinar, they always offer a paid-course for mem to join. do you have insight or idea how can I find client?

      I suggest reading the book Spin selling. It teaches you how to do B2B sales. So you take the techniques taught in this book as a way to build your clientele.

    Can we offer services for TH-cam channel manager with no experience ? I mean without having myself a TH-cam channel. I am a freelance content writer and transcriptionnist and I would like to help some channels with repurposing, SEO, strategies, transcriptions, creating visuals...

      You have to show how you would repurpose their SEO and why that would be beneficial. In other words, you must educate yourself on TH-cam and how TH-cam body works for creators (and many other things) by watching free videos or even paying for a small course.

      @@freemamatv Not yet, but I have been researching, watching many videos on the topic, and bought an expensive VA course a few months ago I wish I hadn't.
      When I put together my original portfolio I realized that I didn't want to do most of the things because I would be miserable. So I went back to the drawing board and did more research on what I could do with the skills I have and love to do.
      The other problem is to get clients. Yes, I am aware of the so many ways we can look for them but not all will apply to everyone of course due to various factors.
      And that's what I have to figure out.

      don't reinvent the wheel!@@AndreaMagdalenaKosha What services do you want to start with in your biz?

    • @AndreaMagdalenaKosha
      @AndreaMagdalenaKosha 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@freemamatv I first followed the advice not to niche down and offer essential services anyone can do, like e-mail management, data entry, etc. Then I realized I've been doing much more for twenty years than e-mail management and data entry, and my skills can benefit another type of client. Not to mention that my brain needs more stimulation. My first portfolio offered three packages with various services, including basic services. I got a lot of views but no traction. Since I learned that my portfolio was more like a list of services and my projects, but I've never expanded on why and how each would help potential clients. So, I am redoing it. I am still new to LinkedIn networking. My professional background covers digital mapping and interpretation, writing, data analysis, presentation, public speaking, and more. I took a children's book course a few years ago and self-published a few books, educational materials, and journals. I enjoy designing digital products in Canva. So, in addition to the more "serious" stuff, I can offer digital marketing tools for small businesses and larger corporations. I am still learning about these products, but interested in them. The challenge is to find suitable clients with the proper marketing and networking and secure a contract with them.
