Thanks for this video! I always write in my bible. I feel like it helps me better connect. I also date my entries so that I can look back years to come and see how God was faithful. Helps when you’re going through deep waters.
Dating is a good idea! In my new Bible, I did write down the date and where I started this time.

I find with Bic and
Papermate Ink Joy pens the oil in the ink is what causes that eventual breakthrough and smearing. I've switched to Micron pens and the gel highlighters from Wal-Mart's Pen+Gear brand or Amazons Mr Pen highlighters.

If you haven't used them yet, pigma micron pens work really well. Especially the 01 and 005.

@@RaisedtoWalkTV They are great Journaling pens! You typically can get them at Hobby Lobby. Or a local Christian bookstore if you have one. Gel Highlighters are the best for highlighting, but these will allow you to take a lot of notes without bleed through. I appreciate your review of the Life Application Study Bible it is a great and thorough review!

Rebecca, yes, I do really like the Bible. I have another video with a comparison of the 2nd and 3rd edition. I think you might be able to find the 2nd edition for a little less now. I also recently did an update video on my 3rd edition. The cover isn't holding up very well, so I would just watch for sales or discounts. I bought my 3rd edition on sale

I write dates, and the name of the person who recommended the verse. I sparkly highlighters on most of what I read.
That's a great idea. I think my pastor once mentioned he does that. My issue is finding pens that don't bleed and make a mess.
