The ergonomics of the GO 1 and lack of OLED were the primary reasons I held out from being an early adopter. It took everything in me not to buy one at launch. But I knew a 2.0 model was going to have to improve on all of its weaknesses. Now I can’t wait to get my paws on the 2.

I agree. We 3D printed ergonomic grips for the Go controllers and although the display is amazing, we miss the black levels of our Deck OLED. Legion Go 2 can't come soon enough.

Nah, I’ll wait for the Legion Go 2. Coming from a SD OLED I can’t go back to IPS screens.

The Deck OLED is great but showing its age; I played on mine exclusively. The Go screen is no slouch, but can understand waiting. LeGo 2 is said to have an OLED display with VRR! That'll definitely be worth it.

I wanted to get one because of the cool controller features and being powerful, but for handheld, it would not be good on my wrists (so got a Deck Oled). I still think about getting it sometimes, though 😅.

It's definitely a heavier device and the Legion Go specs look to be even heavier. Love the Deck OLED, but it struggles a bit in performance with some games. The MSI Claw 8 AI+, Legion Go 2, and later the Deck 2 are on our radar.

@TheTruTake The Deck 2 will be nice. I also have decided that I don't want a handheld Windows system, but if SteamOS comes out great I might consider it.

@@McSmurfy Yes. There's a Legion Go S with Steam OS available. We're going to try and review it and see how it compares to the Deck OLED. The display isn't better but the performance should be.

@TheTruTake That would be nice since I didn't go with the Legion Go because of windows.

getting one today! bazzite install to replace my steam deck lcd (which I love, but the screen is hard to look at at the distance I use it)

Lego 1 is a top-tier beast. Even if Lenovo didn't drop these new 3 options, the Lego 1 still runs against all handhelds. If you own one you know the screen is gorgeous, it runs any game, maybe battery life isn't great, but it never needed VRR, or IPS. In my opinion they updated it for crybabies. Lenovo should be pushing AMD updates.

We agree! The screen is really something and this is coming from Deck OLED & Ally Z1E owners. We're testing lossless scaling right now and so far it's been promising. More updates will surely continue to breathe new life to the unit!
