You guys always have a great way of describing audio gear to the most In depth details. It’s amazing and honestly very appreciated. I wish more reviewers were able to articulate as well as you guys. It’s an impressive skill honestly.

Call me shameless, but that you match funds to the Salvation Army has given you a special place in my heart.

Great jobs as always guys............., it seems each of you’re able to appreciate what they’re doing from an emotional aspect. That to my mind reads as they’re offering layering to the notes which many brands aren’t able to cover.

Great review on great speaker. I'm biased because I'm in love with this Italian company. I have the model at home sonus faber cremona m.I have been to many exhibitions And the Sonos Faber speakers were almost the only ones that made me smile in my heart.Everything that plays sounds right.

Excellent review. Thank you. I would love to hear you guys compare the Serafinos to the Olympica Nova IIIs. Just from this video alone I am thinking about trading my Novas up to the Serafinos! A specific review would be very helpful.

wonder how Serafino differs to Amati with the 180mm vs 220mm bass drivers?

Looking for a set of Sonus Fabers to match with my Macs C2700/MC462. Specifically, between the Olympica Nova V, the Serafino and the Amati. Essentially, is the increase in price between the three worth the bucks?
Have heard an A/B between the Olympica Nova III and the Amati on a reference level McIntosh amp stack. We are talking a difference of US$13,000--nearly double the price, yet the tonal qualities compared favorably across the spectrum. The biggest distinction in my very limited sessions with both speakers (not long enough to tune my ears as you guys have professionally done) is the mid-range vocals: the Amatis made the performers sound IN THE ROOM.
The Olympicas did this, as well, but not as consistently, depending upon music selection.
The price between the Nova V and Serafino is around US$5,000, making it enticing to upgrade. But once you enter the Homage line--Jesus help me--my flesh wants the Amati.
So what am I asking? I have no clue. A serious comparison between the three that encapsulates how they compare without a consideration for price, and then bang-for-the-buck does-this-make-'cents' based upon room size, music tastes.
Hope this makes sense. These three speakers span a price range and two speaker lines that many people are straddled between, and you have some of the best approaches to audio reviews around.
    Thank you for any consideration.

it would have been very interesting to hear your opinion on how do they compare to Olympica Nova II or III. Since you did something similar with the Sonetto´s comparison.

Today there are several brands that do not use visible screws.
These are dynaudio, Gold Note, B&W, focal, monitor audio and even q acoustics.

Great video guy's, I think this was one of the first reviews I've heard you talk about a product on an emotional level, this is what Audio should be! How the music moves us, like seeing a great piece of Art for the first time and how it stir's us emotionally. The Sonus Fabers are those speakers, they are emotional, engaging, really awe inspiring on all levels. I really like how all of you said they take you to a different time and place in your lives depending on the piece of music you were listening to, that is what music should do. Bravo Guy's

      Great review, gentlemen. 👍
Regarding 80's music, I'm sure that you've heard it, but check out the Tears for Fears "Woman in Chains" track from "The Seeds Of Love" album...
Oleta Adams' vocals should float about 5ft above and well behind Roland's vocals in the sound stage. This is one of my test tracks when evaluating a speaker's capabilities in terms of imaging & sound stage. Most speakers will not reveal this.
Tears For Fears "Street Fighting Years" album is another overlooked/little known album that is excellent IMO.
Also check out "Dissidents", "I Scare Myself", "Screen Kiss" and "Mulu" from Thomas Dolby's 2009 Deluxe Edition Remaster of his 1984 "The Flat Earth" album.
And while it's not an 80's track, a true dynamic torture test with excellent imaging throughout is "Dub In A Time Of Cholera" from the Dub Colossus "Dub Me Tender Vol. 1+2" album.
Also, I HIGHLY recommend the entire *Steph Johnson Trio - Nature Girl* album! Spectacular music and recording! Give it at least one listen on the Serafinos. ;)
Have also been enjoying Michael Daugherty's Grammy-winning "Tales Of Hemingway" album. Excellent orchestral recording (Nashville Symphony) with solo cello, fantastic percussion, and incredible pipe organ deep bass articulation & imaging on a few tracks. Hear and feel the pipe organ in 3D space. :) Fantastic on the Sonas Fabers!

As much as I like the Sonus Fabers (Nova 1) to be exact. I am not convinced that their floor standing speakers are Better than the bowers and Wilkins 800 d3s. I would be interesting how some of the best of Sonus Faber floor standers fares against bowers Wilkins 800 d3s.

The appearance is part of the experience and if it doesn’t look good, I’m not interested. If I could afford them, I’d buy the Sonus Faber Olympica Nova II speakers.

These sonus fabers are the real deal, especially when you consider build quality and how that will extend their lifetime perhaps beyond ones own. Would love to buy them, but i dont make that kind of money.

Dann....these aren't for me. I'm more of an E type drophead (convertible) kinda guy; circa '67.
So, I'd have to say Sonus Faber Amati violin red. This latest reincarnation their best yet, but positioning is really important as is the electronics.
Sorry Serafino's your frequency response doesn't quite match that of the Amati's and timeless elegance of the E-type '67 shows up that wanna b , upstart F-type.
I hope you have a pair in stock for Jay to take home and review. 😀

@@adrianlow2114Man of sublime taste Adrian. 🚗🚗🚗
I'd not like the hassle of the upkeep, I'm not overly mechanical. I assume your climate far from ideal, quite the opposite here. But, I do think you'd need 2 cars regardless.
Hardly see any on the roads out here these days. Seems they hit the roads during those car club drives & that's about it. Pity!
