PENTAX K-3 III Firmware 1.70. THE GAME CHANGER

**Towards the end of the video, I messed up and refered to the new HD DA 100 macro AW as PLM. WHOOPS!! It's NOT PLM. It's still screw driven. My bad**
Well, it's out now. Firmware 1.70 for the Pentax K-3 Mark III and let me tell you that for portraiture, this is a game changer! The 1.7x crop mode is handy as well (9 MP is fine for social media). The Extra Small select AF point is another big plus. And if you happen to have the both a K-3 Mark III (or K-1/II) AND the new HD D FA 100mm F/2.8 Macro ED AW, well, you get an in-camera focus limiter as well! Crazy for a PENTAX firmware update! Let's just hope they keep up the momentum!
