this channel should have way more subscribers, ive upped my wr 10% in just a few days , I just started playing a month ago and just started playing ranked about two weeks ago. some of these vids got me out of a nasty losing streak where my wr dipped all the way to 32% and is now sitting at 42% as of today. I play my game, I don't force any fights or objectives I take whats available and help where my presence can make a difference for my team.
I have a question, is it really right to gank let's say swain is the position where gank can really work or just farm up. In my past few games I'm wondering how will you know how your gank will impact the game will it win us or just farm up because it's less risky and like the structure of your game or tempo will ruin if you gank someone's lane. This though process makes gank for me a bad decision unless you've full cleared already. I really appreciate if someone can give an opinion about this.
A lot of that boils down to the champion I think. Xin Zhao is a very strong in duels/skirmish, especially in early game. He is not a farming jungler and does not scale very well. His playstyle is leaning more on ganks/invades and helping your team get ahead fast. My take is that a sucessful gank is better than farming. Then it's a matter of the likelihood of success of your gank. In that first pathing, Swain was far up the lane, no wards on the bot side and can be abused later if he survives using flash. So high chance of success (kill and/or flash) and pretty low risks (Swain is pretty weak pre-6). When the gank finishes, you go back to farming (or invade maybe). I like to clear quadrants with champions like Xin Zhao, not full clear. You clear a quadrant (let's say top side), and look for a gank while clearing. If there is a gank with a high chance of success (in mid or bot) then I go for it and fall back to farming my bot quadrant afterwards. If you do not see a gank, then you full clear and maybe look for a gank or to cover with the tempo you have.
It's not really a set rule where you think "Okay, I've full cleared, now I can gank" or the other way around "I'm mid-clear, I can't gank", It's more applying your understanding of the game to work out whether the gank is valuable or not which just comes with playing jungle more. This is an extreme unrealistic example, but imagine if you were pathing topside and the enemy Teemo decided to go get a drink mid-game (so he's just afk'ing lane), by ignoring your camps and going there for the kill, you can view it as a 99% chance to be rewarded and a 1% chance that it's not worth and you've messed up your camp sequencing; of course you take the kill here. It all just comes down to evaluation, working out risk/reward and thinking through all the possible outcomes before you make the decision. Messing up your sequencing is obviously a negative for a jungler, but if you mess up your sequencing to get a penta, that is gg.
question about the build , is it still better to go hydra or sky ? people now also start with eclipse , it feels to me that you get more out of eclipse or sky start than hydra .
