I've seen these on freeway jobs .I have a question ,when I show up on freeway job the inspector runs up to me and yells "how many revolutions do you have ....HOW MANY REVOLUTIONS DO YOU HAVE ?" .....How do you figure this with your kind of system ?....
I just turn off the cement then close the sand gate all the way then run the auger and conveyor and just run it until empty, also making sure the water and any admixture's are off too.
I just put that there as a vent, when you use a plastic sock on the cement discharge it creates a bit of a vacuum as the powder falls through, so a vent at the top let's it breath and the powder falls freely down into the mixing bowl.
This is an Omega Mixer, I didn't exactly choose them I started working for this company and that's the mixers they had, so I learned on them, I've never actually ran any other brand.

Are there any kind of paddles or mixing blades in the mixing bowl or are all the ingredients mixed in the auger itself? Thanks
How do you empty the sand/stone box if a customer wants to use a different mix? ie. pea stone instead of 3/4"

Whats the typical benefits to this over just regular truck is this for small less waste
You pay for what you use normal bottle mixer lorry you for the hole lot

@@johnneufeld02 Thank you friend. I have a Global imm mixer which belongs to Cementech and we are just starting to launch it.
Ok those Global's are good mixers, I have run some of those as well, I wish you the best of luck with your mixer.
