Hello, I have a few questions and concerns about the PetSnowy SNOW+ and Litter Robot 4: 1. Cleaning Difficulty: Which one is easier to clean deeply? Do issues like litter or waste getting into motor or electronic parts occur more frequently in one of these? 2. Odor Control: Which one handles bad odors better? 3. Suitability for Large Cats: Which one is more comfortable for large cats? 4. Long-term Issues: Are there any long-term problems like bad smells with the Litter Robot 4? Does PetSnowy have similar problems? 5. Cleaning Details: Does PetSnowy also have problems with litter or waste getting into areas that shouldn’t get wet? And finally, if you were to choose between the two, which one would you pick? Thanks!
@@cee5026 in my opinion, I think the PetSnowy is the easiest one to clean. I do have issues with the litter getting into the tray outside of the bag and that typically happens when I don’t put the bag on correctly or my husband will overfill reservoir with too much litter. I believe the petsnowy has the better litter odor control mostly because it is sealed and enclosed whereas the litter robot is open. And it actually has area for fragrance if you choose to use it. I do think the litter robot 4 is easier for larger cats because it allows larger cats to hang out of it while using it, whereas the pets know it is enclosed and has a smaller hallway for the cat to get into. I haven’t seen any long-term issues. I would just say as long as you placed the mat incorrectly and you give it a good wipe down you’ll be fine. I haven’t had any issues with my PetSnowy. My cats tend to track the litter into the hallway, so just make sure to dump the hallway mat litter back into the reservoir. I really enjoy my PetSnowy because it has really reduced the odors and the tracked litter. However, if you do have a larger cat like over 19 pounds and 18 inches you might find it easier to use the litter robot. I don’t regret the PetSnowy at all.
How does the globe rotate? If it rotates front to back or up and down vs clock wise and counter clockwise be careful.. that is a bad design flaw..cats have gotten stuck and even died because of the cat getting stuck between the rotating and non rotating parts. Research it. And test it with something like a plushy to see what happens. And if it still has the curtain that is an even bigger concern because you would not be able to see if there was a problem. I will deal with any other little box flaws in order to keep my cats from being injured or worse. Be safe.❤
Thanks for the review! 😊 So there should not be any problem with urine going to places where it shouldn’t be when everything is attached correctly? One of my boys is very creative while peeing and sometimes I find it at the wallt of my normal cat toilet. 🙃🤦🏼♀️
@@catq6864 yeah you shouldn’t have any issues with this machine catching/storing any pee as long as your cat is going inside of the actual globe and you’ve attached the mat correctly. It helped for me to make sure the mat inside the globe is completely dry before reattaching it. The mat has like a nice thick floppy silicone feel to it. I like to vacuum the walkway mat before they go into the globe every once in a while because they both enjoy digging and kicking the litter into the walkway (I don’t want them thinking the walkway is another area they can go pee/poo in). Sometimes I take the kicked out litter on the walkway mat and just dump it back into the globe too.

Could you make a review between the neakasa m1 vs petsnowy? Its hard choosing one of them.
Thank you!!!

Safety question you need to answer: what axis does it rotate on?
