If JK and Jimin were doing a previous dance move i wouldn't know cause I was in shock. Tae was a beast in ON!! The way they ad libbed on Suga's part in Life Goes On made me emotional. The Dynamite dance break...impeccable! I for real cried after watching. My husband thought something bad had happened. Nope, just got enough energy to last the rest of this year. That black swan attack. Jikooks duet was ethereal. Heart explosion. Took me back to no more dream days. Namjin..YASS..the improvement, shout out to Dionysus dance break. And was that DNA vhope I just saw, but contemporary instead of hip hop? These pairings gave me life. And black swan classical Version always gives me chills. The build up with the violin, wow, just wow. And dont get me started on that dynamite disco overload. Someone please stop these men. You would think dynamite couldnt get better until they prove us wrong every time. And we have Jimin and Jhope Jackson in those classic MJ Billie Jean and Rock my world outfits. BTW, Jung hoseok, it's illegal not to wear a shirt. Lastly, the space that was always left for Yoongiah. Each one of these men are irreplaceable. Suga wasnt there, but his presence was still felt. Everyone talks about the jikook dance, but nobody talks about the tremendous dance that J Hope, Taehyung and Jimin did at the end, just art, I loved the presentation, but I missed Yoongi, without him nothing is the same
I watched it and throughout the whole thing I cried because Suga wasn't there but I am so freaking proud of them they work so hard and I couldn't be prouder
They started out strong with the Black Swan performance and ended just as strong with the Dynamite dance break. All the way through it was one great performance after another. Amazing.
The Black Swan performance was beautiful, but for me the Highlight was Dynamite. Namjoon with Tae's cheek was so adorable. AND THE FREAKIN DANCE BREAK DUDE!!! HOBI WAS KILLING IT!!!!!! Tae ending the Dance Break was a killer too 💜
Exceptional. More of Hobi dancing please I miss him front dancing. The last part was so precise, funky with a soul vibe really love it. The begining was ethereal and magical. The live singing out of this world specially in "life goes on" . The energy in "On" incredible. All the song bops Yes this was BTS in their element. Did I mention that it was on another level? I just can't get over their boldness in having 2 male idols from a top group at a major awards show, in a deeply conservative, non LGBTQ+ - friendly country, do a balletic pas de deux together! It was so beautiful. And as for Dynamite & my man Hobi in THAT jumpsuit...wow! Up until now I was really disappointed that they wouldn't be able to do ON at the Grammys, cos I felt it was a better song/choreo, but now I'm feeling excited - I want THAT performance, with THAT dance break & THOSE outfits! :D Did you see that as well our boys getting an historic 2nd clean sweep of the daesangs, Son Seong Duk also got the award for Best Performance Director, not only for his work with the boys but also other Big Hit artists...very well deserved, congrats also to him! :D Let's get it for the MAMAs - who knows what we're in for?!

They really set the bar higher. They really give their 100% best and effort in every performances they do. You'll never get tired of watching their performances each one of them is unique and different. They might be singing the same song all over again but they always include new flavors and it always amazed me that I'm seeing new concepts with the same songs.

I’m still recovering from this performance honestly I don’t know how they do it but they always know how to up their game with each and every performance. I was working and had the awards on my tv in the background and they came on when I was speaking to a customer, I honestly had to put them in hold to save their ears as I wanted to scream 😂😂. I don’t know how they will do it tomorrow for Mama but I know this will be equally if not more amazing. BTS are out to kill all us army for sure 💜💜

For me, I don't need the grandiose, huge stages. What awes me the most is their intricate craft in dancing and singing. MMA 2018 Intro to & IDOL is still my favorite performance of theirs, hands down. But the black swan one or the Dynamite dance break they did here is a VERY close second.

This performance was everything we needed but didn't know it. The Orchestral version of Black Swan with the 6 was something magical and only Yoongi presence could make it better.
Also did you notice that all 4 songs are this years albums singles? Black Swan and On from MOTS:7 and Life Goes On and Dynamite from BE.

Also, I love that they always left space for Yoongi. I've seen some groups rearrange their choreo/line distribution when someone's missing, so I appreciate that they're like "We are SEVEN".
No shade on groups when they do this - they don't have a lot of control over how their management handles it. Just appreciating that they acknowledge that he's recovering right now.

Your reaction was so funny and relatable, I reacted the same way when I first saw BTS Melon performances.( J-Hope though 😌)
For me, I don't need the grandiose, huge stages. What awes me the most is their intricate craft in dancing and singing. MMA 2018 Intro to & IDOL is still my favorite performance of theirs, hands down. But the black swan one or the Dynamite dance break they did here is a VERY close second.
