    Great video thanks. How did the Raspberry Pi thing go in the GPS screen? Would love to see that video!

      After over year of waiting, my Raspberry Pi4 has finally arrived (just last week), so I can finally get back into that project and finish it up. Will post a new video in the coming month(s).

    I have 2011 V60 with Premium Sound (12 speakers) and inspired you project I did the same to my V60 and fiasco bro... I did everything as in your installation video. All VDASH steps (I bought a subscription with which you can change all possible configurations). The SUB adjustment appeared in the menu among other available adjustments, but it does not play. I tried resetting the CEM to factory settings. Then I "loaded" everything again, but nothing changed. Do you have any ideas what could be wrong??? please help me, because I put so much work and money and I got a flop🙈 . ALL V60s never had SUB from factory...

    How did you contacted the guys at D5T5? I’m kind of in the same situation, bought everything to retrofit the TRM module and now I need to pay the subscription to add the config 😢.

      @@AngryGermanGarage thanks, I ended up changing my mind and paying for the subscription as I also want to add the subwoofer and also want to disable the Four C as the previous owner of the car already switched to standard shocks. So it made sense to get the subscription as the total for this operations would be 290€ vs 160€ subscription (VAT included).

    Hello mate, i have installed factory subwoofer in my XC60, got it programmed via VDASH, so it appears in menu but actual subwoofer still dont work. it definitely worked on original car, would you be able to direct me what to look out? power is coming to subwoofer, all sound goes away when i unplug the the power from subwoofer. How do you know that subwoofer is working when you plugged it just to test it ? it doesnt make any noise, also there is no any light indicators on it to confirm it actually powered on. thanks in advance

      That is a strange problem to have. I believe if the 'subwoofer' option is presented in the menu that the device is detected. If it still isn't making any sound, I'd have to assume the device is faulty. Which doesn't really make sense if it was tested prior like you mentioned.
      There isn't any lights on the subwoofer module to verify it is functional.

    please answer me whether the positive wire is permanent or not, because I don't have such a fuse block in my volvo. that's why I'm asking, because the plan is to connect from somewhere else

      I'm sorry, I'm not clear on the question. Are you asking if the positive wire is constantly powered? If so, the answer is yes.

      I bought the cheapest Vida clone I could find on eBay. Hasn't let me down.

    How is the wiring for a car that came with this option from the factory?

    • @AngryGermanGarage
      @AngryGermanGarage  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I haven't seen the wiring in a car that has this as a factory option, so the routing will differ from what I've done. As far as the connection points though (e.g. the point I've tapped into the fuse panel for power) will be exactly the same.

    Did you have order this from Sweden? Was there an option to buy the appropriate boot area floor?

    • @AngryGermanGarage
      @AngryGermanGarage  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes ordered from Sweden. I didn't check if there was a replacement boot floor to suit. Postage would have been extremely expensive.
