The Bass Sounds incredible
They don't care about the fame. Do you see how much they get into the music. It is amazing how much they put into it. I love there music. Especcially there older stuff. Oh how I wish I could go to a concert. But they aren't touring near me. I would have to drive like 9 hrs.

I'm 70, but I'm still a working orchestral bassist and bass guitarist.
I'd not heard of anything from Coldplay until two weeks ago. Our local (NC) orchestra is doing a Coldplay medley along with selections from Offenbach, Verdi, Brahms, Led Zeppelin, Queen, and Duke Ellington this Friday.
I fell in love with these guys' songs at our first rehearsal.
Our conductor saw me smiling at rehearsal and asked if I'd prefer playing it on bass guitar 🎸 over the double bass.

This one here where Chris squeals “doo” is one of my favorite live performances of “Clocks”… Second only to where drunk/high Chris sings “sitting at the piano with Alicia Keys” during the verse and Will saves the tempo from going off the rails.
I also like the version of “Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall” where Chris spins around too much, gets dizzy, and collapses onto Jonny’s pedalboard. Had to be embarrassing, but was definitely memorable. And, the rotating stage / graphics for “Ink” inside the dome was magical.

Simplesmente coldplay
I just watched a part of a doc on Amazon Prime Video about these guys. I'm 51, but I remember this song, as I have heard it here and there over the years, and I don't listen to radio, but at work, and other outlets, and I've always liked it. And now, watching this performance, I have to say that I am astonished that they got rid (temporarily) of the drummer because they thought he wasn't trained and experienced enough as the rest of the band. Fortunately they came to their senses for all of the right reasons. This guy is an effin' beast on the kit. And has and awesome tone, and is a freaking heavy hitter, but with TONE! And the bass player.... That guy is a glittering gem. Fuck.

Drummer is amaizing
I absolutely love the piano riff in this song from the first time I heard back in 2004 on an HBO promo whilst at a friend's house fixing their computer in the middle of the night. Luckily, that friend also had a copy of "A Rush of Blood To The Head," which I didn't know at the time that this song was on. I just happened to sample it out of curiosity.

This eager stage depicts the effort this band puts in the music, they started off with a chunk of deserving songs and they definitely managed such a weird yet catchy group of styles. It's tough to assess the sound based on a particular category; forthrightly the approach makes me think of pop but the term is unsuitable for what done so far. Most likely you choose rock, pop-rock, alternative and some other akin words which break the barrier between a definite genre and a reinvention. I think you grasped my thought, guys. Anyway Coldplay are not meant to play along with teenagers, if you believe they work for a young crowd you're clearly mistaken because the stuff launched over the years proved to be aloof from the worthless or uninspired melodies broadcast on MTV. I don't want to hurt any of you but you'll acknowledge the utter talent this band holds. Therefore each track sets out in a modern way, the sound given out is commendable and workmanlike but it drives out every sort of bias as well.
