I reall enjoyed your flosstube. I was watching it on the following Tuesday. I have 1 question: Do ed at those you always order the Vicki Claton silks for every kit or do you save the ones you have into your stash? I am a newbie and I look at those shoes silks and they seem terribly expensive. Is there only enough on those little disks for one project? Take care and I look forward to seeing your new flosstube.
No I don't always use the silks. Or just depends on the project for me. I pick or choose. The 24 I showed I was looking at a good number that had them but depends on what I am stitching. Those small discs hold a ton of thread. I don't think I have ever used all of one except on land I love(and I believe I stole some of it for another project). When Vicky kits them if you need 2 of the same color she really does a good job making sure you have enough floss. The discs are 8.7 yards of 6 strands of floss. Since I stitch with one thread it is a lot. I do mix up my threads a good bit, I use it all. I guess I feel like Vicky silks are affordable compared to some of the other brands that are 7+ a skein. But I am certainly no expert that is just my opinion. I think all threads are beautiful so it to me is all preference. I hope that helps and thanks for watching.

Loved watching you - you had some really nice charts I'd not seen before. Am going to order the scissor holder wraparound as I have a long rectangular frame which would work well in it. Look forward to watching many more.
You should get a set organized. It makes the world of difference. The right lighting and viewpoint to allow the best view of your stitching after you put so much time and effort into your work. Personally an overhead camera looking down at the work against a plain background like a tabletop is what i watch most

Loved watching you - you had some really nice charts I'd not seen before. Am going to order the scissor holder wraparound as I have a long rectangular frame which would work well in it. Look forward to watching many more.

You should get a set organized. It makes the world of difference. The right lighting and viewpoint to allow the best view of your stitching after you put so much time and effort into your work. Personally an overhead camera looking down at the work against a plain background like a tabletop is what i watch most
