I'm preparing for the university exam and I lost all my close friends one by one. These losses really hurt during this stressful time, but I don't care anymore. Don't love anyone more than yourself. When you come home and look in the mirror, it's not your loved ones but yourself. Our world is not as beautiful as it used to be and even most people's emotions are fake now. There was a time when life used to be easier. My biggest worry was getting good grades at school. My siblings and I used to fight a lot cuz all of us wanted to play videogames till night (those fights now make me smile) We would rent horror movies at Blockbuster and the first cable TV came with tv channels like Discovery H&H and Nick...
I used to walk home by myself while listening music in my mp3 mobile imagining hundreds of scenarios in my head.
I used to wake up with my mother's voice singing (she loves singing while doing the chores)
My dad dealt with some economical issues but that never stopped him to made us happy. As a family used to go to the cinema quite early so the tickets were cheaper. No pop corns nor soda, but it was fine, we were happy!
Every summer was an adventure, every weekend a dream...
What a good old days. Days that will never be back but will absolutely stay in my heart.

Like most I long for the past, I was lucky a couple of times during that past bc at times I was well aware of how perfect everything was and how I belonged for first time in my life. Hard to explain, but you just know you are exactly where you are supposed to be, content. Wish I would of had more of those moments of clarity during that four year stretch, but I am grateful nonetheless. Although, I am not naive and realize how we all romanticise the past and selectively pick out the best parts, it's a normal part of nostalgia. But, gives me hope that I can once again find that same peace in future.
Very relaxing and soothing 😊 makes me feel a little nostalgic as well.
How we miss those past days and moments, even though they were simple but happy🫀

I can't be calm. I'm tired of being the so called golden girl all the time. I'm supposed to get good grades, be the overachiever, be perfect just for a good name in society. I hate engineering and yet that's the path I'm compelled to take. I'm tired of being looked down upon if I want to relax for once...I'm tired of being perfect. I'm burned out...how much more do I need to keep giving...I just want to write stories with raw emotion as I pour my heart out and weave my thoughts on paper because I'm a coward who can't express her emotions openly...I'm just tired...

The days of being a kid are gone and only far off memories it's 2024 and I'm 31 all my childhood friends and everyone I went to School are grown ups eventually we will meet our ends in natural causes of death or our elderhood age is not the answer guys if so why does it only exist on Earth? Why do we potentially ALLOW age to control us we claim to be futuristic but still grasp around age scientists have discovered we aren't living to our full extension if I gave you a new door to walk through would you do it?
