I feel like shanks is being underrated here, Ben Beckmann is probably the smartest character, so shanks and his crew probably has a plan setup to keep the world stable which is the opposite of what Roger wanted which was to turn the world upside down.
He keeps it balanced so Luffy can be the one to turn it upside down (without Luffy even actually realizing it cause well, it's Luffy) and Shanks probly knows about most of the truth. Brago, I’ve never seen someone speak about this possibility. What if the person Shanks wanted to speak to the Gorosei about was actually Luffy? What if instead of warning the gorosei ABOUT a certain pirate, he was warning them AGAINST a certain pirate? If Shanks is so knowledgeable, he may know that they want to get Luffy. He could have gone there to tell them to back off of Luffy, or suffer the consequences of Shanks getting hostile. Just had this thought.

Not sure if I’ve ever heard this theory before but this video got me thinking about it. It’s starts with the World Governments obsession with Jewellery Bonney (spell check lol) and her DF. Why? What if during the God Valley incident, the previous user of her DF was present and it was used as a last gasp effort to defeat Xebec. Seeing Xebec as a kid, Roger couldn’t bring himself to kill him or let him be killed for some reason. To cover it all up, Roger takes the de-aged Xebec as an apprentice and changes his name to Shanks. I love your videos btw, that intro song gets me every time.

A lot of people think Oda introduced the Davy Back fight so that it wouldn't be a random addition to the story later when he has Luffy and Shanks compete in one of their own style. So with that in mind, think back to Alabasta and Dressrosa you have instances where Oda uses very similar abilities with characters like Goldenweek and Mach Vice. And there are other examples like this in the story. What if Shanks' Kings haki can briefly slow time or even just stop it completely momentarily? Allowing Shanks to move through time similar to how Foxy's devil fruit worked.

I think the pirate Shanks went to talk to them about needs to be Shiki he is Cannon and we're around the time he said he would reappear, i find it very intriguing that Kaidos Army is Basically almost the same thing Shiki did in the Strong World movie so it makes me believe Shiki is not Controlling Kaido but the one Kaido is trying to build a Army to Fight Shiki has been doing something that Shanks found out about and it makes me wonder what it is. I’m not sure why, but I keep having this dream for One Piece that a bounty Hunter will arrive in Wano and be the main antagonist of the next arc. Like the reason why most bounty hunters don’t go after the Strawhats was because that bounty hunter owns the bounty Hunter job. In a sense the head bounty hunter, similar to a pirate crew, but his crew is like Luffy’s, but his fleet is full of a lot of famous bounty hunters. Granted, I put myself at that captain spot in my dreams lol. There’s a lot more to the dream also, but that’s more of the main points.
I believe that mihawk does have Conquerors haki bc hes one of the top warlords (boa and doffy have conquer) and he does have the title of being “worlds greatest” such as a “kingly” title. Also whenever he arrived on the island with Zoro the baboons were shook but looking back at it, it wasnt so much of a “scared shook” but conqueror type of shock and Zoro states “This Aura”

MAYBE shanks motive is to basically keep the Navy away from Wano. He was like “Hey I know the location of Who’s who. All I ask is that you do not interfere with Wano because xyz.” Which could be Luffy being there, or him knowing the civil war that’s happening in Wano. He basically just doesn’t want the Navy involved in Wano due to him remember how important Wano is. Remember he was once there with Roger or knew people from Wano.
This probably been theorized before but since Eiichiro Goada loves his parallels, maybe how shanks and luffy meet is shanks Is about to lose to Blackbeard and just before teach can land the final blow. Luffy comes in to save him. That way we get action between shanks and Teach and it symbolizes luffy surpassing shanks to show he’s truly become a great pirate that’s legacy will make waves just as Rodgers.

0:50 well, I agree Kid is underwellming so fare. But hes fighting Big Mom right now. So it is not unreasonable to assume hes refered to. Shanks would be more Hype, no Question about it, but other Possibilitys have to be considered.
Just a random thought: Shanks ends up being the end boss villain and we come to find out that Blackbeard has been a good guy (anti-hero) all along. Could be that Shanks is “grooming” Luffy for the end game (kinda like what Aizen did with Ichigo). I’d definitely want to hear thoughts on this.
This is off topic but for a long time I didn't think Zoro had conq. Mainly because his goal requires him to take any challenge presented to him to prove he's the strongest swordsman. Now knowing that conq can be used for things other than knocking people out I wouldn't say it "makes sense" for him to have it but rather whether he has it or not is fine.
What about a new theory i come up with: Elbaf's island has a certain devil fruit that they protect and worshiped with many prophecies being made for this DF's owner and that was nothing else than Gomu-Gomu DF. Vegapunk ordered CP0 (or whatever number they had) to steal it so he could make genetically modified soldiers with giant limbs. The CP0 succeeded and Shanks offered to help giants so as the order is not distorted, on his way back Luffy ate it and Shanks wanted to protect it by saving Luffy. Shanks, also, being familiar to these tales (as all Yonkos seem to be) he just wanted to see how the game will be played. PS. I think Blackbeard has some kind of ancient weapon or an anti-ancient weapon scroll that describes the ability of a human living with 2 DFs and the world goverment that has not showed to be very active against this fact will suffer a terrible loss in an all-out battle with Blackbeard that will set Blackbeard on top of the world where Luffy and Shanks will confront him, maybe with some help of Navy (reference to Kuzan or Koby) Feel free to comment on this!!!!

Brago, I’ve never seen someone speak about this possibility. What if the person Shanks wanted to speak to the Gorosei about was actually Luffy? What if instead of warning the gorosei ABOUT a certain pirate, he was warning them AGAINST a certain pirate? If Shanks is so knowledgeable, he may know that they want to get Luffy. He could have gone there to tell them to back off of Luffy, or suffer the consequences of Shanks getting hostile.

Not sure if I’ve ever heard this theory before but this video got me thinking about it. It’s starts with the World Governments obsession with Jewellery Bonney (spell check lol) and her DF. Why? What if during the God Valley incident, the previous user of her DF was present and it was used as a last gasp effort to defeat Xebec. Seeing Xebec as a kid, Roger couldn’t bring himself to kill him or let him be killed for some reason. To cover it all up, Roger takes the de-aged Xebec as an apprentice and changes his name to Shanks.

A lot of people think Oda introduced the Davy Back fight so that it wouldn't be a random addition to the story later when he has Luffy and Shanks compete in one of their own style. So with that in mind, think back to Alabasta and Dressrosa you have instances where Oda uses very similar abilities with characters like Goldenweek and Mach Vice. And there are other examples like this in the story. What if Shanks' Kings haki can briefly slow time or even just stop it completely momentarily? Allowing Shanks to move through time similar to how Foxy's devil fruit worked.

I think the pirate Shanks went to talk to them about needs to be Shiki he is Cannon and we're around the time he said he would reappear, i find it very intriguing that Kaidos Army is Basically almost the same thing Shiki did in the Strong World movie so it makes me believe Shiki is not Controlling Kaido but the one Kaido is trying to build a Army to Fight Shiki has been doing something that Shanks found out about and it makes me wonder what it is. Also the thing thats very interesting is if its not related to Rox maybe Shanks went to talk to them about Loki who i honestly think is planning a Giant invasion upon islands inhabited by Non-Giants and i think that this is what it is. The fact Loki has been keeping the Yonko off Elbaf and Shanks snuck onto Elbaf to find out what Loki has been planning and saw this Giant Army that would threaten everything the Yonko,Pirates,Marines and World Government also probably the revolutionary Army. Loki is basically planning a Genocide on None Giants.
I’m not sure why, but I keep having this dream for One Piece that a bounty Hunter will arrive in Wano and be the main antagonist of the next arc. Like the reason why most bounty hunters don’t go after the Strawhats was because that bounty hunter owns the bounty Hunter job. In a sense the head bounty hunter, similar to a pirate crew, but his crew is like Luffy’s, but his fleet is full of a lot of famous bounty hunters. Granted, I put myself at that captain spot in my dreams lol. There’s a lot more to the dream also, but that’s more of the main points.

MAYBE shanks motive is to basically keep the Navy away from Wano. He was like “Hey I know the location of Who’s who. This probably been theorized before but since Eiichiro Goada loves his parallels, maybe how shanks and luffy meet is shanks Is about to lose to Blackbeard and just before teach can land the final blow. Luffy comes in to save him. That way we get action between shanks and Teach and it symbolizes luffy surpassing shanks to show he’s truly become a great pirate that’s legacy will make waves just as Rodgers.

Shanks ends up being the end boss villain and we come to find out that Blackbeard has been a good guy (anti-hero) all along. Could be that Shanks is “grooming” Luffy for the end game (kinda like what Aizen did with Ichigo). I’d definitely want to hear thoughts on this.

This is off topic but for a long time I didn't think Zoro had conq. Mainly because his goal requires him to take any challenge presented to him to prove he's the strongest swordsman. Now knowing that conq can be used for things other than knocking people out I wouldn't say it "makes sense" for him to have it but rather whether he has it or not is fine.

What about a new theory i come up with: Elbaf's island has a certain devil fruit that they protect and worshiped with many prophecies being made for this DF's owner and that was nothing else than Gomu-Gomu DF. Vegapunk ordered CP0 (or whatever number they had) to steal it so he could make genetically modified soldiers with giant limbs. The CP0 succeeded and Shanks offered to help giants so as the order is not distorted, on his way back Luffy ate it and Shanks wanted to protect it by saving Luffy. Shanks, also, being familiar to these tales (as all Yonkos seem to be) he just wanted to see how the game will be played.
PS. I think Blackbeard has some kind of ancient weapon or an anti-ancient weapon scroll that describes the ability of a human living with 2 DFs and the world goverment that has not showed to be very active against this fact will suffer a terrible loss in an all-out battle with Blackbeard that will set Blackbeard on top of the world where Luffy and Shanks will confront him, maybe with some help of Navy (reference to Kuzan or Koby)
