First one; late victorian. Lovely.

❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Same! My favorite!
I agree. Followed by the 1980's.
yes👍
The rings are all beautiful, BUT… I WANT these BOXES!!! 😍
Me too! 😃
Tell me about it!
Right?!
Totally!!!!! 💯💯💯💯
they’re so cute 🥹
The boxes got me more than the rings!!! ❤ They r adorable!!! ❤
I love them too. A pretty box says it all. 💍
Me too! The boxes are as pretty as the rings (to me) 😊
Me too! The boxes are as pretty as the rings (to me) 😊
Those ring boxes are perfection. Not like the oversized nonsense ones most stores use.
I like looking up the names on the boxes to see if they're still around...many are
I like the 1940 and the 1980 rings. Simply beautiful.
The fact that these rings possibly made a really happy day for a couple at one point.
That is so wonderful to think about, isn’t it? 😊🥰❤️ And some of them might have made several women very happy. Very cool to think about and imagine. 🥰
It is more likely that it was the opposite given the time and the way women were treated back then
@@ametistazztrue 😭
More like the opposite
@@ametistazzso you’re saying that all or most women back then were miserable? That’s a bit extreme 😂 there actually were many women who were happy back in the day.
The 1980 vintage princess cut just beautiful 🤩❤️
Love it!
80’s and Victorian
@@Katiegram Yeah, me too!
Looks exactly like my engagement ring! Wasn't aware it was "1980s style"
Mine looks just like it! ❤❤❤
1920 Art Deco ring, just stunning
I know, right?! :-)
Удивительно,оно выглядит очень современно!
That was my fav too. Especially the side profile
@@lanag611These are not real vintage rings. They’re all reproductions. You’d hardly ever see true old engagement rings with “diamonds” this big.
Yep
Of course, they all are "quite dazzling"...but I've gotta say that the first two are the most BEAUTIFUL 🥰😍💍💎
The 1960 Midcentury is so pretty ! The petals help protect the diamond's mounting from catching on things and the whole ring has the graceful lines of an Art Nouveau design ...smitten !
Mid century 🤯When did my high school years become mid century 🤪😂🤣
It definitely has the most interesting shape to it!
@@annamarielewis7078 when they happened in the middle of the century?
But a pain to clean! Imaging getting cheese down in there!
@@lyndseymc I keep old , soft bristle toothbrushes for that very purpose ! A gentle scrub with Dawn does the trick !
this is gunna sound a little odd… but honestly, i really really like the boxes more than any of the rings, & would honestly love to collect those tiny antique boxes.
Me too lol
Yess same! Love the opening mechanisms, they look so intricate and fitting for an important piece of jewelry
I agree but mostly because I don't like diamonds 😂. Too boring for me.
Same!🥰🥰🥰
Same!
I did not expect that the 1980 ring would be my favorite, but it is! Absolutely classic.
I also liked this ine. However, have these rings been used before by someone else? I think that this kind of jewelry shouldn't be reused.
Same here (actually the only one I liked - and I’m generally not a fan of the 80s esthetic at all!)
@@catiabotelho5845 I mean, the owners from the late Victorian age through at minimum the 20’s are all dead, and rings are often kept as heirlooms to pass along through the family, so they get reused quite a lot in fact.
Yeah of course it is.. 👌🏻👍🏻
My favorite too. 😍
@@catiabotelho5845What does “this kind” refer to? Engagement rings?
These are all so beautiful, the way they shine to us must have been 100x brighter for the sender and receiver. Brightening their life ahead of them and the love they showed to each other for the years to come. No wonder why we cry at such a moment, the light shows us the beauty of our future with that person. ❤ I await the day he shows this very gesture to me. The glisten of the gem will match that of the tears in my eyes. ☺️
the first one is absolutely stunning
The 19 80 vintage is gorgeous and timeless😊
The 1900 was gorgeous to me. So pretty and elegant but not too much. Love the boxes too ❤
1980 Vintage is absolutely stunning and radiant 😊
The 1900 ring is beautiful
2000 definitely
I know right?😍💕
1920 art deco classic and elegant 😘👌
That's why it's my favourite. A beautifully cut stone that's allowed to shine on a simple and elegant band.
1960 Midcentury.....LOVE the rose 🌹 giving the diamond a hug ❤
Ez tetszik; Ölelés a gyémántnak.
Yo también
Very romantic. I wouldn't have thought it was mid century.
My ring is from 1960 its was my great aunts ring, who sadly she passed at 19 and her fiancee died in Vietnam. It looks like a star constellation when the engagement ring and wedding band are together. It doesnt bother me that the rings past wasn't too happy cause my grandmother kept it and cherished it since she loved her sister very much. We got it appraised since it real 24k gold and 5 diamonds. Its heirloom piece worth almost 20k. I actually got a replica of it to not wear the original since it has such deep sentimental value in our family.
Ok 1960 better than all the rest, no 4 ❤
Splendid! And I love the old boxes…
I love the 1980s vintage three stone ring… it’s hard not to love the ‘80s 😊😊😊
For sure!
It's exactly what mine looks like and my fiancé and I are 80s babies... had no idea❤
1980 😍 classic, timelessly beautiful!
Came here for the mini box appreciation comments. You all are my people.
Gorgeous rings and I love the last few that are smaller thinner ring boxes - probably way easier to slip in a pocket for a surprise proposal! (Did prior decades do surprise proposals?)
The 1940s retro! What sparkle and style!!
My favorite by far!
C. 1980 Vintage is absolutely beautiful and it's my favorite 😊
Mine too, especially since I love a princess cut.
Late Victorian 1900 is my favorite, but the ring from 1940 really caught my eye. Wrap them up! I'll take both, please.
I was going to type the same!
Same two favorites over here too ❤
1940s retro. The diamond with two additional diamonds either side, is literally my dream engagement ring. ❤
1940s is gorgeous. It's amazing how much better the craftsmanship was before now
I like the first one. The stones are huge!! I'm sure very expensive for their time.
Guess they weren't that expensive back then.
That's what I'm saying!! Already a small .5 can cost 700 or more. Those rings are a huge carat!
i do not think these are the original stones. I have a ring set from the 1940s and the stone was possibly 0.4 ct which would be around $1,200 in todays money. she likely replicated the setting and replaced the stones with a larger stone for todays market.
that is what my husband did but kept the original setting and stone from his grandmothers ring!
1960 Mid-century one looks like a rose, beautiful
My favorite as well!
The boxes are so cute! All the rings are beautiful, but the 1920's Art Deco is my fave.
1980 Vintage is right up my alley. Gorgeous
1 and 2 are my favorites ❤
The brilliance of the sparkle of 1 was the best!
the 1940 is beautiful!!
The 1920 era ring is my fave!
I love both the 1900 and 1920 ones- there's something so special about stuff from the old world.
How gorgeous is that 1940’s ring ❤❤❤
I love the 1960 one its more unique than the rest. The other designs are common.
The wood box for the 1940 is so beautiful.
Victorian and vintage are BEAUTIFULL!!
I like the 1960 mid century. So unique and unlike all the other ones. I like the artistry in the gold and metal work. Very specific kind of style very personal for someone special!
Yes, this 1960s ring is pretty unique
1920. The ring is classically beautiful.
The 1940 ring is beautiful . I absolutely love antique engagement rings. Blessings.
1900 ring is beautiful ❤
The 1940 ring is outstanding and unique. I would love to wear that one.
Late Victorian & 1940’s retro - along with both their gorgeous boxes lol! Chef’s kiss
My favorite 2 as well❤❤❤❤
❤ saaame
Same ❤
Is it just me or *Do you like the tiny boxes more than the rings* ☺️🙃😊🙃🙂
I like the 1980s ring and the 2000 ring there beautiful.
1940's deco. She is gloriferous! Yes I made it a word for such a gorgeous piece.
Oh my gosh!!! The 1940s one is STUNNING!🥰
The first two are my favs.
I love the 1960s, it's beautiful and graceful without being too much, just elegant.
I love the art deco ring. Stunning..❤❤
The victorian & vintage are amazing 🥺🤍
1940 was the best one ❤❤
The vintage is a classic beauty ❤love the cut, it's timeless 😊
1900 late victorian ring is beautiful!
The first one. Beautiful. Romantic. Just lovely.
C1940. Thank you beloved rose 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
The 1940s ring is fabulous and unique! I love it!
Hands down, #2!! What an elegant piece of jewelry. Timeless!!!
The late Victorian and Edwardian era rings aren’t a true representation of the rings of the era as diamond engagement rings weren’t popular until an ingenious piece of marketing from De Beers
C2000 CONTEMPORANY! SO BEAUTIFUL
Boxes were unique. Rings were all beautiful. Thanks for sharing the video.
Vintage is beautiful and truly a classic, elegant ring ❤❤
1900 and 1920 ones are so beautiful 😍❤️
Torn between the 1940 and 1960 rings ... both gorgeous 😍
Mind a kettő tetszik, és mind a kettőt szívesen viselném. Gyönyörűek, Az 1960-as gyűrű egészen különleges és egyedi.
Same here 👍
To all the women who have ever or will someday experience receiving an engagement ring from a loved one…. You are so very blessed and lucky. Some of us will never have that.
Even if we have it, the person that gave us may leave us.
I never have and never will.
Some people are in incredibly toxic unhappy marriages.. There's beauty in your freedom too
You can have it if you want, someday.
Buy it for yourself, you have a ring without the having to deal with a husband.
I love the art deco ring!!!
It’s truly stunning 😍
Number one is #1, but number two is a stunner and the 80s vintage was a most charming contender ❤
Those 3 were my favorite also.
The 1940 Retro Era and 1980 Vintage are absolutely stunning and beautiful 😍
And me it's beautiful x
I'm 100% the same oppinion.
Mine looks exactly like the vintage one ❤
1900 and 1980 are absolutely stunning!
The 1980 one is so similar in style to my Mum's too and she got married early 80s!
I definitely did not expect the 80s to be so simple but stunning. My parents were married in the 80s and her wedding ring was hideous even though my dad had it custom made. And she was the one who pointed it out to me before I even noticed lol.
I agree those are my favorites too 😊
@loungeact8878 me too!! I agree!
I agree...I thought the 1900 as we went through the next 3 & then the 1980 came & WoW! Beautiful!... 2000 was too much. Out of all of them, the 1900 & 1980.
The contemporary one is my choice of this selection.
1940 retro era 😍 preciosoooooii
Everything about that 1940's ring is stunning, just perfect & beautiful, even the box it's in. I also like the 1900 Victorian era ring.
1940 Retro Era! Screams Hollywood Golden Age. 💎💎💎
these are all incredibly blingy versions. The average engagement ring for your typical couple would not have had such large diamonds
Engagement rings are sometimes separate from wedding rings
@@angelmars0087 nobody talked about wedding rings. This statement was about how these are not common engagement rings as its clear these were really, really expensive (now and back then)
My thoughts exactly
@@ShadowWolf1307 I have always been under impression that engagement rings were blingy while wedding rings were modest and thought they were confusing the two. Seems I was wrong
@@angelmars0087 no you are right, that's not the issue. Again: I am pretty sure OP meant that the shown rings wouldn't just be a couple thousands but are equivalent to some out of the ordinary price.
I'm going to make an extreme example:
The first ring, if bought in today's market value might be worth one million dollars. Would you be able tl pay that for an engagement ring? No? Well guess it's not a common example of an engagement ring then. I'd assume most people spend a few thousand not a million.
That's what we ate criticising here. The bling is a representation of how freaking expensive this ring must have been even back then. These aren't your run of the mill emegagement rings. They are the Luxus versions and as usual give unrealistic expectations (this time: oh look past rings had so much more bling they were more classy! While reality is: these are very luxurious engagement rings from the past you wouldn't have been gifted anyways if you had lived at that time)
I hope you get it now
They are all beautiful. 1940s ring 💍 and modern are my favorites 😍.
The retro era and mid century rings are so beautiful, the settings are so unique 🤩
Those ring boxes are absolutely lovely. I will take one of each please. ♥️😌
The 1900-1940 rings were my favorites. Though I must admit the boxes caught my attention more than the rings.
1920 Art Deco is my favorite ring out of these choices!! I also like the 1980 Vintage ring as well. But they're all gorgeous in their own unique ways!!❤
I ❤the 1920 &1940s retro ring. It’s unusual but very beautiful
That midcentury ring stole the show for me! Truth is, i love them ALL!! Just gorgeous ❤
Yes they ALL beautiful#❤❤🎉😢
1980's vintage... princess cut is incredible et what I have on my finger 33 years later. ❤
I have a princess cut diamond engagement ring too, circa 1989. Still love it.
1920 and 2000 were both gorgeous!!! 😊😊
These vintage ring boxes just rock!
I love them. They look much older than the rings.
The 1920 Art Deco is the most beautiful ring in this group! Love it!
Yep, agree! 💍
The 1960 captured my interest. Beautiful.
so beautiful and charming - all of them...
THE ROSE MOUNTING OMG I LOVE IT
1940s or midcentury.I like the rose setting.
I do prefer the 1960 mid century rose, but the 1980 square cut trio is also very nice
1900 and 1920 are perfect. However, the 2000 ring has the best band!!
Such tiny boxes, with HUGE surprises! Every single one, magnifecent piece. . . .
Art Deco and 1980’s vintage stunning
The 1960’s ring is my favorite. It’s so unique setting is exactly what I LOVE.
I really like the 1960's style. Beautiful and elegant.
First one is perfect. Simple and pretty
Love the 1940s one! So unique!!❤ All of them are beautiful though.
