- Despite having a few injuries in the middle of the season, coinciding with tougher conference competition, TyTy Washington remains one of the better guards in the 2022 draft. The well rounded nature of his game, unselfishness and PnR prowess make him a potential top 20 selection.

He should have been a lottery pick I feel, he’s just better than guys like Johnny Davis imo. Wizards could use him. Seems like teams disagree with me though so we’ll see. Im excited for the Rockets this year (just not on defense)
He’s the best guard in the draft.. No other guard plays with better feel and poise…
Best is a stretch, he seems like a guy who will end up an elite back up guard or worst starter on a championship team. Still great but ivey, sharpe, mathurin all have higher ceilings

@@jojoprocess2820 TyTy has the highest 3 level scoring upside out of all those guys you mentioned. His midrange floater & pull-up is already second nature to him. That touch will translate to the other three levels with experience. He’s already advanced at the middle level.
@@ClipK74 TyTy and Hardy are my top two guards. TyTy is more of a PG. Hardy is more of a SG.

Houston possibly came up. He will be great coming off the bench and if he proves himself can become a starter. He will fit in the Rocket's rotation being that he's the only true point guard on that team

__We all can question his coaching abilities, but Coach Cal at Kentucky has an amazing eye for guards. Wouldn’t surprise me if TyTy joins those names as impactful UK guards in the league.

@@infinitewarrior5467 KPJ plays PG but is more of a Combo Guard, drafting Tyty would bring us a true PG from the draft finally, not counting Nix.
I am fan of that at pick 17. Tyty's passing ability, poise, and middies would complement the explosiveness of Jalen, KPJ, Jaygup, KJ Martin, and possibly Banchero 🚀

Love the best fits outside of not being and explosive athlete and age I like TyTy game love his touch on floaters and mid-range shots he shoots a soft ball his misses really don’t look bad I think he’ll be a better player with NBA spacing
KPJ should slide down to the wing and let TyTy run the point.
Well done! The separation critique is interesting. The plays where he showed the ability was absolutely elite space creation. The examples where he was bottled up, I think are largely due to team spacing. It looks like there is a good amount of athleticism to unlock here... there are elite flashes of first step quickness and explosiveness into his jump shot.

Interested about your best fit teams. Is that because you don’t see him as a lead guard right away for a team like the Knicks?
12% body fat probably doesn’t help him when it comes to maximizing his quickness and explosiveness. If he goes to a Miami Heat they’ll have him in his best shape possible and would see him take a leap probably due to it. No matter where he goes hopefully he’s in better shape, it’ll make a difference.
I don’t know what the nba uses to measure body fat cause it’s really inaccurate 10-13 percent is pretty good for an elite athlete I’d say he is more in the 18-21% range
12 percent body fat is good.. I’m at 12 percent body fat and I’m ripped

@@zachdrickmetcalf1704 for you and me 12% is great. The average rating tho at the combine for guards is like 6%. Washington had one highest percentages of anyone there including bigs. Probably is off cause some of the percentages don’t even seem possible but still his is double the avg of his peers.

Is it just me or are all these "one and done's" older? I feel like most are older than 19 including Ty-Ty. He'll be 21 years old a week or 2 into his rookie season. That's not a huge problem for me but I think it matters. Idk about everyone else but I generally think of one and done's as 19 years old.
Cause they're reclassifying early guys be staying back in like the 8th grade now then reclassify to make a certain draft class or keep rankings
@@andrewparks8970 I always thought reclassifying was moving ahead a year. I didn't know you could just choose to stay back a year. He's 2 years older then a "normal" freshman coming out
