There's a beautful Irish language film of Foster called The Quiet Girl, highly recommend! Another good football book, and Nottingham related in a way, The Damned Utd by David Peace.
Did you say “There’s an awful lot of words for what is in effect a short story”? Good description! if I remember it right. I have to try some Perry Mason!
Perry Mason sounds great - I'm sure I have a couple lying around will try 'em. Interesting to hear about Slan, which I remember nothing about except that it was good.
Oh Debs, I'm so glad that you read FOSTER. Wasn't it incredible? It's my favorite of Claire Keegan's books. I think I need to read Slan too! We are definitely in the homestretch now with the Big U. Terrific wrap-up, my friend!
Thanks Pat 😊. Foster was just beautiful. The writing was stunning. Thanks for the recommendation. I enjoyed Slan. Plan to read more AE van Vogt. And I’m so pleased we are nearly there with Ulysses. Go the Ulysses 6 😂😂

Thanks David 😊. And yes that is what I said. Perry Mason was a load of fun. I hope you enjoy it.

@@RaynorReadsStuff Really. I'm working on 17 today. The Q & A style of it is so tedious!
