I’m British and I love visiting Amsterdam. Perfect weekend break if you ask me. Got to love the cafes, few joints and have some weed. Then red light district at night. Can’t beat it. If I go back next year I may have to do this tour.

I noticed 18 min in, there is absolutely no city noise. No honking no construction no ppl hustle and bustle, I have read and heard they have the happiest ppl on earth there. You can see the Captains laugh lines so he must smile so much.

Love this videos, but there are more interesting places then Amsterdam: Leiden, Gouda, Haarlem, Delft, Utrecht, Maastricht, Zutphen, Leeuwarden. Maybe a cheese market, or castle. Most tourists only see Amsterdam, but there is much more. Visit Waddensea area, the Frisian lakes or islands. Veluwe, Utrechtse heuvelrug, the dutch hills in southern limburg.
Wow, thanks for the tip. Holland is one of the most beautiful countries in the world, even though I lived there almost 10 years I didn't visit a lot of the places you suggest, now that I can go back to Holland I'll definitely write down these places and try to visit them.

Thats a bad ass little boat I like those all wood boats from the 30s,40s 50s. Its nice he changed it to electric. Diesel boats are loud and smell like exhaust. Amsterdam looks beautiful
Such an amazing video. I truly agree with the Captain on his statement about how the electric powered boat is better than gasoline boat because you don’t hear the motor and it’s more peaceful. You can actually hear the rippling of the water in your video. Beautifully done buddy.

Was there, in my fav. pit stop city, a year before Rona came into existence. Like always, doing nothing but soaking in the soul of the city and lovin' every minute of it. Highly recommend the Anne Frank House - very humbling. Can't wait to go back to Amsterdam and maybe get a nice luxury boat tour instead of those shared commercial ones!
I did a canal boat tour in Amsterdam once, I will never forget it. We had been to a bar and been drinking a lot of beer and almost forgot the tour but then we remembered and rushed to it. But the beer wanted out as soon as I sat on the boat and there was no toilet onboard. It took 2 hours and my bladder was bursting just 5 mins into the tour... that was really hard...
