Great video mate :) I´m shooting new videos with oa5 pro (+ gopro11, 12 and big cameras).. I love using oa5, but I also hate a few things, which I think need to be fix: 1. I pray to God😄, that Dji will update normal mode with possible to turn hdr off.. or less hdr !! 2. Fix exposure, because with -0,3 is sometimes also too overexposed and sometimes underexposed (with gopro I didn't have this problem). 3. Crazy lens flares - they sometimes destroy good footage and for me they are unacceptable for more professional content. But I love what DJI do now and thanks for your videos, have a great new year 🙏

@@AlteroThai insta x4 which is my fav action cam for 2024 btw has 8k in 360 so you can export in 2.7k Of course you can extrapolate to 4k or 8k or whatever but the pixels won't be real. If you go from 2.7k to 4k you only divide the pixels to reach the 4k but you don't have the real 4k Although it's not an issue at all In this video I shared some footage from dji neo 2.7k exported in 4k as extrapolation on normal screens we won't see difference. But if the camera can have real 4k then it CAN be used in higher productions (not for TH-cam necessarily)
Hi, Happy New Year. Bought OA5 - 2 months ago. The main problem with the camera is uncontrollable exposure jumps and vignette. All this is displayed in D-LOG M. DJI does nothing about it. At the moment I can't use OA5, because the video quality is terrible. I really hope that in the next update DJI will fix this. And then it will really be the best action camera.
@@photorabz Exposure jumps are eliminated only when shutter speed and ISO are locked, for example 1/500 ISO 100. At shutter speed 1/500 ISO 100-800, exposure jumps uncontrollably. In normal 10-bit mode, this is not as aggressive, but still noticeable. The same applies to the vignette. The camera also starts shooting normally when stabilization is turned off. It's strange that you haven't encountered this problem!
When you keep ur iso flexible and shutter flexible of course your u will have exposure jumps. I don't see the problem. You need a fixed exposure then shoot in manual🤷♂️

I made videos saying that I don't use log on these cameras . Although the feature is available but that does not mean that it is important . Shooting log REQUIRES full manual controls Anything else is a none sense
I made a full video about it before. Actually announcing a camera few months after the release of their high end action camera called pro but now without the pro branding can make us think of a camera cheaper allowing space for action 6 pro in September. Maybe fpv camera?
hi, please remind them to change in the next firmware the zoom wheel into just two side quick buttons + and - always ready without other steps in any kind of screen otherwise fast zooming is very difficult while recording .. and more details in 2x .. plus something to protect the audio from the extreme wind thanks a lot

Osmo action 6 is supposed to have worse performance than Osmo action 5 pro? I didn't quite understand how. Usually the next model is better or do you recommend I buy the Osmo Action 5 Pro or should I wait for 6?
A function I am missing. A option for "naming" the stored video settings, instead of a picture. Then I could have a setting called "night mode" , "day light" and so on....
@@photorabz and file naming should be something "date and month" related like GoPro. I hate the way the cam does the file naming now. Would be nice to categories from date filming etc.

I would like to see a DJ size camera that allows me to add a C mount lens or or other with Aperture ring, similar to the Back-Bone mount, there are so many application i have for this , I did buys a adapter from Adriano Lolli who hand made a lens mount to use 35mm lens.

Action 6 is registered and it's a public info. Normally dji releases the item 2 to 3 months after the FCC approval. Osmo360 reputable source. Dates can never be official as we all know that marketing strategies can change

It's not worse but it will be a mini version imo.like ace and ace pro, GoPro hero and GoPro hero 13 black. It can be an fpv camera as well
What about firmware for the avata to fly on a standard crash remote
Avata series is not for basic consumer users while these here action and dji flip and osmo360 basically are for all users.
