@@thecube1567 hes not the strongest bishop easily hardcounters him he cant pull a bishops when he just flys also i think the truly best is actually the pawn or knight the knight just has so much dps if you can actually aim and the pawn can easily counter all of them by blocking etc and ive won many times by just sending a pawn forward and killing the king and queen etc

Y'all should play Shotgun King: The Final Checkmate. It's a chess based top down roguelike shooter where you play as the Black king with a shotgun versus the White army and each round you select one of two random buffs for yourself, but each option is paired with a buff for the White army. It's sick, and it has a brief story at the beginning of each game that Jo can skip
I initially read the title as "chess but game" which I didn't even question, because them having a bit about board games not being games despite the title, would be such an alpharad gold bit.
I really hope that eventually, Jopharad and Al try out PS2 classics such as Magic Pengel and Graffiti Kingdom. Literally nobody seems to know about those games existences, which is a shame considering they're a fucking rabbit hole of traits that you'd think would make it more well known. (Such as Studio Ghibli's involvement in Magic Pengel, ZUN working on Graffiti Kingdom's music, or hell even the fact Charles Martinet voices one of the villains in the story!) Not to mention its unique gameplay of being able to actually physically draw the monsters you play the game as, or use in battle (depending on the game), and its """"top notch"""" voice acting.
