Moving the defense with your eyes then coming back opposite field and throwing dimes is crazy work! The ints don’t mean shit when they show that they learning from it! Nix literally bounced right back and was his normal accurate self after film review which is what you wanna see! It’s not gonna always look perfect during a rookie campaign but the signs of growth should be showing!!! It is with nix it’s not with Caleb
@@JudahsAwakening won’t argue that’s Williams has not looked good I have always said the way he plays does not translate to the NFL but with the right coaching and a willingness to learn he can be an excellent QB I just think it’s a little premature to anoint Nix as the best QB in the draft class ,considering that Maye ,McCarthy, and Penix jr have yet to play a snap and I’m not sleeping on Spenser Rattler either it’s just way too early to make that statement
Surtain allowed 13 yards against one of the best receivers in the league and didn't get at least a 75? PFF is getting laughably with all these departures they have.
honestly pff for elite corners is a joke. it takes 0 account for how difficult their matchup is that day. which for a position like corner is asinine. anyone with eyes who watched this game knows Surtain was an elite performer.
Agreed, they can't grade on what the defense is called or the role a player has in said defense, which makes the score pretty useless. The success was in front seven pressure and Surtain's tight, excellent coverage.

As a Broncos fan, let’s not forget Buccaneers were missing their two best players in Vea and Winfield Jr. Surprised Surtain wasn’t on the board shutting out Evans he’s a beast
They had a safety over Evans in addition to Surtain. The loss of Winfield, Vea and Kancey revealed the lack of defensive depth. Bucs OL was not holding up in pass protection or run blocking. Baker was hit and hurried more than the 7 sacks.
I just want to point out that the steelers and seahawks are quite literally the number 1 and 2 defenses right now (with denver being 3rd) that bo faced back to back right out the gate. I am optimistic with Bo Nix and how much he has progressed.
