Chevy Blazer Autumn Trail Run! - Traxxas TRX-4

Autumn colours + Black Edition 1979 Chevy Blazer = gorgeous.
It’s time for Burt’s annual autumn trail run (with a little dry creek crawling just for fun). We were up early for this one to get the best light. This has been a pretty good fall so far with wonderful foliage. It never lasts though, and before we know it the first snows of winter will be here.
The black and chrome Blazer always looks good in the autumn leaves, but we wanted to enhance the contrast between the truck and surroundings this year. We used a polarizing filter on the camera to cut out reflections, rendering the shiny truck body a deep black in most shots. The polarizer needs to be adjusted for each shot, adding complexity to the shoot. It’s not something we would use all the time.
