@Sid with Stuffs Only God knows I was never a great fan, still it hurts a lot. Some people I know who are never emotional types and haven't watched a single movie have also cried. This is, for sure, a weird incident for me.
In north India, we usually watch movies of south in Hindi dubbed. My whole family loved Dr Rajkumar or Puneeth sir movies. They didn’t knew much about him but I am in awe of this actor by his acting, simplicity, healthy role model for boys and men like us. When he passed away, I kept on watching his movies and cried so many times. I couldn’t believe that such a good actor is no more. You’ll be forever missed Puneeth sir. ❤ 😢
Pls don't limit him to Karnataka. I am from Andhra Pradesh and just by seeing his photo i will start crying. Trust me i have not watched his single movie untill James. LOVE U Appu❤❤❤❤❤.

After Appu's demise a Tamil director revealed that he used to donate the money which he earns from singing to an old age home in Tamil Nadu and it seems he as instructed not to reveal this to public.

Appu sir never smoked and drank alcohol in movies and also in real life because they believed that it affects his fans and viewers. They never wanted to give miss information to his fans. As a star kid he got opportunities form his legendary acting. They honored by national award in very young age. As a star kid he always encouraged and supported new actors. In Kannada industry so many new comers raised form him.
I am generally not a fan of any actors and never really cry, but whenever it's APPU, I feel a huge void and get emotional! Logically, I don't have answers for this.Have seen strong men cry for APPU,for whom crying or getting emotionally low was never true even in their dreams.

Dr. Rajkumar was never interested in politics, but he was so much powerful till his death in karnataka, if he tells anything to follow thats all that is end , nobody will dare to question it or change it, even many chief ministers, politicians in karnataka are afraid, never dare to question, have great loves towards him and their family, Even after his death, so millions of people still adore Dr. Rajkumar, they will either kill other or die for Dr Rajkumar. Coming to his son, puneet rajkumar is very humble superstar like this father, lot of helping nature and kind hearted, no ego.
