I agree with Keith. Spend just a few dollars more and get the bottled in bond. For me personally, I go back-and-forth on my favorite bottled in bond. It’s a flip a coin if it’s Old Granddad, or Evan Williams. Cheers!
the BiB at 100 proof is the way the 114 comes in a little hot makes a really nice hot toddy but both the 100 and 114 proof are decent budget sipping whiskeys the 80 proof is what i put in coffee
You've got to get the 114 and do a blind on all 3!
The flavor of what the 80 and bonded are wanting to be is realized in the OGD 114 , which is amazing and one of my drop dead favorites

never had this one either, just the BIB, which is definitely a good value, I think. Excellent old fashioned/mixers.
I have not had the 80 proof, but I always have OGD BiB and the 114 on hand.
The 114 is hard to find, but the Bonded is a great mixer.
I love Old Grand-Dad! Try Pepsi-Cola Made with Real Sugar, if you can find it. Where do you come by this mash-bill intormation?

I also prefer the 100 proof bottled in bond Old Grand-Dad. Some like the OGD 114 more, but to me it is more for mixed drinks.
I'm gonna mix this with Aldi brand diet cola and pair it with some Aldi dill pickles
Mmm.. Aldi cola
What?! You’re missing the chance to pair it with Aldi’s havarti dill cheese?
You have a point.
OGD BiB and 114 are a great value in my opinion. I don't think I've ever even seen the 80 proof version.
You got to look really low on the shelf. Even though it's the same price as Jim Beam. It looks like a "lower quality" whiskey
