I have a 2015 WRX with a MA performance stage 2 OTS running a catted j-pipe and custom 3" straight pipe single exit. I definitely need it pro tuned.
I love the difference with the J pipe! I'm glad you love it! Having that deeper sound, plus the drivability... so much better! Get an E-tune for now if you're planning on doing more mods. So you don't have to drop 600 a turn. If you're done with nodding then get the protune and you'll be set. I just went BRZ manifold and FMIC so getting a tune next month!!! Have fun with the WRX!

M tuned does really good for e tune and super affordable. Also, just wait til you get to stage 3 running E if you have in your area. The power is addictive. I’m at about 400 to the wheel. It’s insane how quick it is

Cold air intake, jpipe, electronic boost control solenoid, fmic (since I plan on going further later in), flex kit, Cobb bpv, r400 catback
I just kept collecting the parts until I had everything and then did it all at once lol. Didn’t get to feel different power levels since I went from stock to straight to basically full bolt on stage 3 with flex.
My next plans is to go with better headers, bigger intake manifolds, bigger turbo, built internals, hpfp, and some more possibly lol
Going stage 2 soon. Just waiting on my jpipe and mid-pipe to arrive! Sick video
@Miguel sanchez I got one of the last Cobb downpipes before they removed them from their site. So I just ran the Cobb Stage 2+ downpipe for a few weeks. Now I'm protuned. Getting a proper tune is definitely the way to go. The car runs great!

Hell yeahhh! Sounds so much better! You should adjust the muffler to get a better fitment. You can unbolt the clamps and muffler hanger for adjustment.

I always spray pb blaster and wd40 for the nuts and let it sit for a couple of hours. Those downpipes are a pain in the ass specially on the evo lol.

You got lucky with those j pipe bolts, exact reason I didn’t want to deal with it. Also hope you get a etune soon and not use the ots tunes they’ll flame you on the forums for it but I ran ots for like 30k miles no problems

Set the rev limiter on the stage 2 man. Then all u have to do is hold the clutch in and rev!
Definitely recommend changing that battery bro. My shit died on me when I was reprogramming the windows after an install and the ap was giving me some crazy codes when it was just a dead battery. U need that e60 map brooooooo
