Finally caught up to this video, and wow! Three years to basically get to the starting point of the story, that is true dedication! Really looking forward to seeing how Altengrad evolves.
Two and a half years! I can't believe I've been watching your artistry that long, Akruas! In fact, it's been even longer than that, because I first subscribed during the dam episode of Aurelia (#7 issued Sep. 16, 2018) and then back-tracked through the first six episodes. This video is a wonderful recap of the sandbox build for Altengrad - both visually and, in the telling of your thought processes. I have enjoyed the viewing of the past and look forward to viewing the future. ;) Your creativity is captivating, Akruas! Keep up the great work!
Really keen to see the future progression of Altengrad. I think the extra historical elements and research will be a great addition and make this series even more unique amongst other Skylines TH-camrs. Keep it up!
Imagine that there was World War 2 in the Altengrad universe and the city suffers damage because of it (something with DLC Natural Disaster to do damage in random places). Then some old places can be replaced with new buildings and some others can be rebuild as "Old Town". Something similar to what Warsaw experienced :)
So beautiful. Thank you for doing that slow flight over. It really helps with inspiration... Just amazing. Thank you for sharing and dont hesitate to do more slow flyovers. :)
Just what you have achieved so far is so amazing, what you have planned is even more ambitious! I am so glad to be along for the ride, can't wait to see next weeks newsreel.
Came across this series through the recommends and I'm honestly really stoked about this series. Really curious and excited how you'll deal with all the modern developments such as gentrification of the industrial area, modern suburbs and maybe some sort of commercial district.
It is quite obvious what is going to happen, but i will be very eager to see it happen. (Actually you slipped on the subject around the 11.45 min mark ;) ). Nice work so far

Hopefully you take some screenshots from the city as old Tourism postcards/posters/photos especially of the areas that are lost. I know a lot of central Europe saw a lot of history, culture and life lost during that time and there were many areas formerly prosperous that didn't recover for decades after. London is an example of that, with blocks frozen in time, burnt and damaged shells basically condemned until either conservation efforts or modernization took over those areas.
While I was not here from the start, I have seen the first expisodes and the later ones, and I really hope it won't take three years to make the changes for the next era.

Roman, medieval, prehistoric, ancient Chinese, tumor, Victorian, jazz era, world war, 60s, 80s, modern day, dystopia future, high future, colonised planet packs, fantasy (Middle earth like), alien worlds, Mars colony, etc. Each of these could be a money making DLC.
Are you going to add an elevated metro, I don’t rly remember where this is placed but many cities during that time were building metros but it’s probably haunted bc of that big event that happens
The larger ones are the u-boat warehouses by evametrye, there is the really versatile Old Factory 3 Pack by Avanya and there is the Smokestacks pack by Ronyx69 that are there, if any of that helps.
