So excited for you! And you met your goal from years ago to be a homeowner again by fifty, so a hearty congratulations on achieving a major life goal 😊!
Good morning homeowner! Up early and watching to start my day 0:20 love to hear other little ones are up squeaking toys as well! I have six Chihuahuas they do the same lol 2:35 definitely a lot of money spent but in a good and right direction and owning a home is just icing on the cake right before Christmas. Congratulations to you and your daughter. Hard work shows it pays off! Starting to save for my tiny house on my property starting next month so I can build a fence around my back end of the tiny house when I have enough funding for it so I can build a Chihuahua paradise in the backyard lol! Just starting our journey here and still working through a lot of debt, but homeownership probably gonna happen right after Debt is completely paid off, but we’re still saving at the same time 13:11
Lisa, check at your local furniture stores for discontinued or showroom discounted dining set. I got ours for $200 when most regular prices were $800 plus
I am a huge fan of the Habit for Humanity Resell stores. It is my go to place. I have seen beautiful, quality pieces of furniture and other household items and have bought from them as well as friends of mine. I would much rather borrow a truck and some muscle than put furniture together.
Thrift stores are good places to check out furnitures and dining set plus items for your new home. It'll help with your budget and sometimes you'll find things never been use.

I was thinking this too. I wish I had done it with my fence. More money to buy, but so much easier upkeep! Staining g every few years is an added expense and pain in the butt!😊😊
Congratulations carolann and Lisa my terrier Millie Marie. Cats presious Jasmine and snuggles Vincent. It's cute to give middle names. Afterall ther family to.😊❤. The builder should have helped on that.😮😢
I have watched you for a really long time since before you first moved and to see you spend all this money and buying expensive things is a really huge change from them. Not saying it's bad just saying it's different seeing you do that.
I'm so confused. I thought you and Carol Ann were buying the house 50/50, but not only have you mentioned paying off the mortgage all by yourself, but now it looks as though the fence and gutters (technically part of the cost of the house for future tax stuff) are all yours. Student loans or no student loans, Carol Ann is in so much better a cash flow situation than you, I can't help but wonder why she hasn't said a hard no to this idea?
She has and is contributed equally! She spent 4500 on appliances, will cover the garage, moving…..among other things. she’s just as invested financially. As far as paying off the mortgage and her student loans, we are moving full steam ahead. No one person has the financial burden. I can’t mention every single detail in every video.
@@LisaMarieBudgets Thanks for clarifying this! I know it's the last thing you're thinking about now, but it is extremely important for the two of you to keep permanent and individual records on things that become part of the basis (cost) of the house so you can fairly divide profit or loss should one of you buy out the other, or should the house be sold down the line. Appliances, fencing, repairs, renovations, and the like add to basis; moveable items (furniture, equipment) and normal bills such as utilities do not. You are amazing!

Good morning!!!
Did you get more than one quote on the fence?
Good morning, Lisa and Daisy 🌄
Exciting times!
How about a recycled plastic fence? Some of them look very much like wood.
Not allowed by the HOA. has to be 6’ wood privacy fencing.

Why don’t you guys split the fence and gutters? Just curious- I may have missed something. Are you 50/50 on the house ?
She purchased the appliances, covering moving expenses and the garage. It’s equal.
@@LisaMarieBudgets Oh great! I figured I missed some things. I saw the home tour you did- looks amazing! 🤩
@carloyngedenberg7377 we are so so excited!!!
