I'm not really afraid of spiders IRL, but the Devs really captured all the creepy parts with the spiders here, and I usually get jump-scared every time I get ambushed by the spiders. I think the Beacons were only removed from ammo and map-markers, but are still used for nuclear power. I have never needed nuclear power, but now that we can turn waste into plutonium and sink it, it might be fun to try. Loving all your videos. Keep up the good work.
Absolutely, it's like the bottled the essence-of-spider and somehow turned it into code. 😱 Ah, I did not realise Beacons still had a use in Nuclear. I have never done nuclear on my older save, so will definitely be trying that out on this series. I've decided that my immediate focus though will be unlocking and building railways. I want a full train network that circumnavigates the whole map. 👍🏼😁
I notice it clears paths. Can you mow the creature features down with the astrolo4f? Even if they are a little creepy, I'm kind of a fan of spiders IRL I spread them around edible plants for pest control. They put the poison where it's needed. If they were 3 feet tall I'd probably like them a lot less though.
Creatures act like rubber bands if you run them over, but then get up and shake themselves off with no damage... even more creepy! 😱 I have no issues with spiders in the garden, where they belong. But I don't need pest control in my house, thanks very much. 😁👍🏼
@@AtlayGaming Ok, so no death race style takedowns. If they don't jump too high maybe building a small platform to jump on and shooting them with the rebar pistol or tossing charges at them would work. Or throwing up a temporary barrier while you work. Yeah, if a spider is in the house I'll move it outside where it can do some good. I'll often leave one or two in the shop during summer when the bay doors are open a lot though. Once they get established in a good spot they'll usually stay put and not bother anyone. At night you can turn off the lights and shine a flashlight on the web for a few minutes to watch the feeding frenzy ensue. Anything that eats mosquitoes is a friend of mine.

You can now destroy the flowers (update 7) and gas pillars (update 8) with nobelisks.
