Hello Teacher Luke, I wanted to sincerely thank you for your videos. After taking the practice test I noticed I had to work on the speaking parts, so I looked for exercises and found your videos. They were very helpful and I felt prepared after 3 days of practice. After taking the real test I wasn't very confident about how well I'd done, but when I got my score I was very happy. I got a 145 overall thanks to your help. Keep teaching and helping others, you are wonderful! As so many people said, your videos were of great help... scored 145 overall.... 155 - comprehension 145 - literacy 125-conversation and 110- production. The test was a bit tough in few aspects especially speaking and fill the words

Hey I took DET twice, the first time I got 110 overall and 85 in production. The second time y saw most of your videos and practice about 10 times and took the test I got 120 and 130 in literacy and 110 in production!

@@rozbinvohra6749 Hi Rozbin! Honestly, the questions were pretty similar to the ones of the Practice Tests Duolingo offers, maybe a little bit harder (i.e. the fill in the blanks). The only exceptions were a "Listen, then Speak" task (Teacher Luke made a video about it btw, you should watch it👍) and "Describe the picture speaking". I think I have seen the picture of my writing task here in this channel, so I suggest you practice as much as your time allows it with Luke's videos. Lastly, I advise you to relax during the exam, especially during the speaking task. I was nervous at the begining and added words that weren't in the sentences I had to read 😅, that lowers your score. Hope this helps you!

@@nadimpallipriyanka7063 For speaking you will have picture production and topic to speak. For both modules there are some tricks to be considered. You can check Teacher Luke Production Tips and Tricks video. I was given a topic which I had no clue about it. I just started speaking about it whatever came in my mind at that time. What I spoke was not completely relevant to topic but at the same time it was also not out of the topic. So I was around the topic while speaking. Use some connected sentences, some fillers, assumptions, your opinions and give examples. You need to speak speak and speak until the time up.

Hi dear teacher Luke!!! I just took the test, but in the middle, when it was loading to go from a question to another, I whispered part of an English song to decrease my stress as I was really nervous 😭 but later I think that it may be considered as “speaking to a person“!!!! I’m super stressed now but not sure how they may consider it! Can you please make me sure? 😭😭😭🙏🙏
