That is remarkable....The joy, warmth and authenticity, the natural appearance, that for sure dignified but though modest behaviour of these two, Frederik and Mary, which they obviously will pass on to their - beyond adorable!! - descendants, too. Way more likable and reliable interpersonal treatment than some other "oh so important Royal Family" other the years.... Congratulations on the two lovely human beings your Highnesses! :)
I watched the entire service and it was far too long for babies and little children to stay quiet. They needed to remove a few songs and shorten the minister's long message. How Mary stayed so calm is amazing. I've always wanted to be one of those mums who could put her child in its place with just one look and she has that ability.
I so wish any videos of Mary and Frederik had English translations. Mary is Australian, but as an Australian myself, I can't understand a word they say which is disappointing.
Greenland is part of the kingdom of Denmark (though they are self-governed) and the royal family in particular have a strong relationship with that country and their culture. So they each got a Greenlandic name. :)
I LOVE THIS BEAUTIFUL FAMILY, LONG MAY THE LOVE AND JOY THEY SHARE CONTINUE.. QUITE THE MOST WONDERFUL FAIRY TALE COME TRUE, GOD BLESS THEM ALWAYS AND KEEP THEM SAFE! A WEĹL WISHER FROM SOUTH AFRICA.
It's different here in Denmark. I don't know if it's because of Lutheranism. Here we have godparents and something called 'fadder' (which apparently is the Latin word for 'sponsor'). A "fadder" in Denmark are have two duties. One legal and one moral. The legal one is being a witness to the christening, and the moral one is to help raising that particular child in the Christian faith. Technically a parent can be a 'fadder', but I'm not sure how common that is. A godparent in Denmark is simply the one carrying the child and says "yes" on it's behalf. There's no legal or moral obligation attached to it. A godparent can therefore be pretty much anyone. Even people with other religious beliefs or none at all. The only thing that is really required is that they must be at least 13. If they're that young the priest can determine if they find that young person mature enough. My cousin was 15 when he became the godfather of my littlesister.. 😊
I love Princess Mary,Prince Frederick and their children so much.I wish that God Bless their marriage Always and Forever🙏

Lilibeth Morales nasty comment.
Sylvie De Blois what nasty comment I committed
@@sylviedeblois3360 nothing nasty about it....the Prince is seen as carrying the baby very well and am sure it's not the first time either...
