Wasn't it Lead belly who recorded that 24 version? I've researched this song as far as I could find info on,and it goes back in one form or another to before the Civil war.
If there was a way to bring out the guitar into balance with the banjo, that would be great. Banjo is naturally a louder instrument. Just a wee bit of mic....
