My family loves this so much that I have to double it so there's enough for leftover's. I leave the onion out and the ones of us that like it just add it when we're ready to eat. We put a dollop of sour cream on top too.
Saw the recipe this morning, and made it for dinner. It was delicious. The only thing i did was add some Sampson cooked chicken pieces in it. So good. I'll definitely make this one again.

This is the potato soup I make too except I use the hashbrowns that comes with peppers and onions Also a little sour cream with that garnish. This is a great recipe, the only potato soup recipe I use now. Good choice Kristen👍
I'm going to try this tonight. But I learned a valuable lesson today. Don't try to find hashbrowns of any type in the store right before Christmas. So I'm going to improvise with some mini tator tots lol

I have made this same recipie but used actual diced bacon, and didn't use the ranch packets or the onions, and it was still delicious. I may have to try adding those other 2 ingredients though.
The little pack thing found in bacon, beef jerky & etc… it Helps keep the bacon fresh & free from moisture…. && this recipe looks so delicious can’t wait to try this😋 Thanks for sharing!
You just reminded me of the existence of my favorite soup, when i was a line cook i used to eat like 2 or 3 generous bowls of this each shift , i would even hide some to take home, i would just tell the servers all we had left was chicken noodle😅
Man i HATE having to cut 5 lbs of potatoes for soup! This is def getting saved to try 💙 i think I'll just blend like 1/3 of it to mix in for some extra creamy texture

It is good y’all. I make a variation of this using cheddar cheese soup instead of shredded cheddar, and I haven’t tried ranch dressing. I will use half of a red, white, or yellow onion instead of the green. I don’t recommend adding too much ham in there, unless you like it salty.
Always remember to crimp the cans shut in the middle and top of the can's. strays can get their heads stuck in them. Also the moisture packet keeps the product fresher longer but is lethal if eaten.

I often use "Cream of Chicken" or "Cream of Celery" soups when I do chicken dishes. Cans of "Veg-All" come in handy, too!
